After West leaves his office Eclipse takes the phone off the hook. Going through a rolodex in his desk drawer he comes to the contact info for Starling at the museum. He dials the number and waits for a response.

After West leaves his office Eclipse takes the phone off the hook. Going through a rolodex in his desk drawer he comes to the contact info for Starling at the museum. He dials the number and waits for a response.

"Staaaarling," comes a lilting sing-song as the line connects. The ambient noise gives Eclipse the impression he's on speaker phone.
There's a slurping noise.
It might be from a coffee.
It might not.

"Hello, Starling. It's Deacon Eclipse. I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I'm calling to inquire as to the health of Hierarch Andrade. I had heard she was currently away from her office."

"Mmmmmmmmm!?" Starling replies, and there's some thumping noises.
"She's fine, but she said she was taking some personal time. John Portal'ed her out this morning." Some rustling noises.
"I think she left a letter here for you," he added. "Why don't you come by?" Starling asked, almost purring.
