"And a good Carpenter." Spartan adds as he takes another drink and places his off hand on the hip of the Punk Princess.
"Not strong enough," comes the off-hand reply to Terri's desperate wish, as though the Fairest knows it isn't strong enough. Because one mental image just wasn't enough. She shrugs, this round apparently over. "And, shit, Happy new f**king to the two of you, I guess."
Spartan's addition to the 'argument' relaxes her somewhat. This didn't spook him. Well, if this hadn't, nothing would. Good. She goes so far as to put a hand over his. "Wow. You actually have the hang of this?", she tells him incredulously. Yeah, she can't believe it.
"Being with you? Or comedy?" Spartan asks looking down at his woman. "Because both have been a challenge." Spartan says his glowing eyes looking down into hers. Her hand felt good on his. He felt it through the calluses and scars.

Terri laughs, surprised at the Ogre. Maybe he is human under all that armor.
"And Happy New Year to you both too." She looks to Rick, ready to leave.

Rick had kept quiet while the two woman playfully bickered back and forth...sometimes a man was just better served by keeping his mouth shut. Seeing this side of Spartan was interesting, though, and quite unexpected. Only when the conversation tuned a bit more, well, normal did he chip in with his two cents again. "Happy New Year, maybe this one'll go smoother than the last."
Terri's look was not lost on him, so he leaned down to whisper quietly into her ear. "Come on...I'll show you what they're missing, not being able to use a bed."
