Circe & Moray

"This," Circe says, indicating her reluctant companion, "is Moray, Acolyte of the Circle. She was recently discovered by Mr. Hartman of the Ordo Dracul, who, determining her to be Gangrel, delivered her to Priscus Konstantin, who himself brought her to me. Moray, this is Deputy Regina Pia. She belongs to a martial order within the Invictus, and is a knight. She is also a talented artist."

Moray just looks at Regina for a moment, as if completely clueless what she should do, then says, simply, "Hello."

"Moray is of a bloodline that tends toward privacy," Circe explains, "She is rather unused to Kindred society."

Moray's eyes occasionally dart to the side, reacting to some noise or someone moving close by, but for the most part she keeps them trained on Regina.

Peter and Wade unfortunately arrive at Court to find the doors already closed.

Arnold caresses Jessi's hand, rubbing his fingers up the length of her arm and up to her face where he takes her chin in his hand and turns her gaze to look into his face. "Yes... I am." he says in simple response to her statement. Looking down into her face, his Beast pulled at its shackles and the desire to throw her down and assert his dominance here before everyone seemed more tempting than other.

He holds her gaze with his eyes until Deputy Obsidian approaches him, at which time he releases his handhold on Jessi and turns his attention to Obsidian "What is it?" He asks, intending for her to come out with it here and now.

The expression on Jessi's face suggests she wouldn't protest at all should Arnold decide to take her then and there. She shoots Obsidian a fiery glance when the deputy interrupts things, but then looks downward and away, staying close to Arnold but not showing a desire to involve herself in his business.

Asa Clarke | Mask of Tranquility

Seeing that no one had a grievance to air, Asa smiled and motioned for people to carry on. Stepping down, he approached Twist and Shadow, to congratulate the Daeva Priscus on her Court.

Ishani follows behind Asa as he makes his way to Twist. She nods in greeting to those she passes, but does not otherwise engage anyone else in conversation. Her smile is small, but light and she seems to be enjoying herself.

As the Prince and Ishani start to mingle, Jayant returns to Circe, and gives a bow to Regina.

"Deputy Pia, a pleasure. I hope I'm not interrupting," Jayant says, glancing towards Moray, never seeing the woman before.

Sebastian clears his throat softly, and unneccessarily. He turns to Priscus Stamford and smiles apologetically for having been so heavily enraptured by the Prince, despite knowing that all others had reacted the same way.

"As I was attempting to say before, the Unconquered have done a magnificent job. It seems it will be a good evening despite the lack of attendance." He says, and with that he looks around at the assembled kindred, almost annoyed.

Sebastian turns to Madison, moving to stand beside her and he whispers very quietly in her ear. "Brother Adolf has missed attendence once again, he will need to be dealt with lest our public face look bad."

Madison quirks an eyebrow in surprise at Sebastian. "I wasn't aware we had a public face that was good."

She sighs, obviously irritated but nods in agreement. "Yes, I agree he will need to be dealt with. I will locate him and either handle it myself or deligate it to someone else. Either way I am not pleased. This is the problem we seem to have in Sacramento. Our Sanctified are little more then frauds claiming to be clergy."
