History: Beatrix Fletcher spent 7 years in the FBI, surviving two full rounds of rotation through the FBI's most grueling Divisions: Homicide and Kiddnapping. She thrived in those environments, and produced staggering results for several cases, relishing the ability to safeguard society and become the predators predator. From a young age Beatrix had shown that her mindset was not that of a normal person, as the pet cemetery in her backyard testified, but with guidance Beatrix shown to a different path. Instead of becoming a menace to society she became the hunter of those menaces. Her mission is to serve and protect, and the joy comes from the chase of the criminal.
Or, at least that had been her mission. For, during her career in the FBI, she had become renowned for an insubordination and unorthodox investigative methods. If her ends didn't always surpass her means then she would have been sacked long ago and inevitably she managed to pissed off the wrong people. Instead of firing her, they decided to hand her off as the Bureau's annual (and perhaps permanent) attache to the Sacramento DHS-Geosciences department in Sactown, perhaps hoping that she'd quite. Unfortunately for them, Beatrix is too stubborn to back down from her duty and plans to ride out her stay with the DHS, planning to do her duty to the best of her ability.
