This is a documentation subpage for Template:Currentuser. It contains usage information, categories, interlanguage links and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template should always be substituted, i.e. use {{subst:Currentuser/doc}}.

This template provides an easy way for certain preloads and templates to easily output the editor's name in plaintext.
