I started playing RPGs in college, with a couple short-term games that fell apart. In 2009, I started playing games regularly ere in Raleigh.  I started playing Mage that summer, and have been playing and running it constantly since then. I've been developing my storytelling style ever since then. Of the games that I have run, Burning Wheel has offered the most influence over my storytelling style. Mage, however, is the game I've had the most experience with, as both a storyteller and a player.
