This template is used to note former affiliations in a group, i.e. cabal, coterie, or motley. It should be called in the following syntax:

{{Former member|Whispering Wave}}

Note that no text will be echoed on the page itself, but the properties Property:Former Member and Property:Parent will both be set. If the group does not have a wiki article of it's own, these will appear as red links in the FactBox at the bottom of the page.
