Animus chirps in surprise and dives down to alight in a tree in the backyard. Had they returned after all? Had Vector come to purge another potential clue?

Spade sets down beside Animus. 'Cooo? coo co cooooo cooo?' Spade waits a moment then cock his pigeon head, 'Coo coooo? Coooooooo.'

Animus looks at Spade curiously, suddenly wishing Ankh were here. At least the two of them would have an easier time communicating.
Finally, he gestures with a wing toward the Sanctum, then attempts to tap his head, once, twice. Would they understand what he was saying? Finally, he cautiously flies through the window pane to land on the floor. He begins to walk through the house, moving as quietly as he can. He tries to force from his mind thoughts of his last attempt at unseen reconnaissance.

Tugbird cocks his head at Spade, wondering if the Shape was playing tricks on the Obrimos' mind. After Animus enters, Tug follows swiftly along behind. Maybe one of those Banishers was dumb enough to have come back for something and Tug would get some payback earlier than expected.

Spade moves back, trying to find a place were he can see as much of the building as possible. If they scarred something out Spade could spot it, or if something came in Spade could try and warn the other Mages.
