(Open)Halloween at the Grounds

[Seraphina]

Laughing, “I always have fresh treats on hand for Fugly!” the container held up, which indeed, had Fugly’s name on it.

After a couple treats had been fed to the adorable bat, she nods to Sonnie, “Sure! It’s actually really good!” if not, it would not be offered.

Watching Circe place the treasure chest, “Are you sharing your riches and booty with everyone?” a playful hint to her voice.

Absently, she nods to the Summer, of course she was having fun. She was a Spring; she was supposed to have fun. But her heart still ached and there was still a bit of rage brewing, an interesting mix of feelings. “Yeah, I almost stayed home, but Halloween is one of my favorite nights and I love for getting dressed up!” fuck everything else.

“That depends, was yours sweet and spicy at the same time?” because, well, you never know.

“Ummm, I’m not sure,” laughing, “it’s just that it is the spooky season and a good scary movie seems like the perfect way to end the night.” They weren’t movies she sought out, but on Halloween, they were fair game.

Fugly was, of course, ecstatic to receive treats! It's almost like he was a dog or something.

"Hear that, folks?" Sonnie addressed the cafe, "Feel free to bite her booty!" she gestured at Circe with a shit-eating grin.

"I kinda wanna watch Ghostbusters," she chime din on the horror movie debate with one that... wasn't a horror movie. Unless you find Slimer scary.

[Vincent Black]

Vincent walked into the party dressed as Sam from Trick R Treat. He was hungry and ready to have a good time. Walking in he waved to Seraphina, Circe and Sonnie, "Greetings ladies, sorry I am so late to the party. Had to find a costume I actually liked."

Vincent grinned, "Did I hear Sonnie offer up Circe's booty for a taste, I mean I would not mind as long as she promises to bite back."

[Circe]

"Yar! Me booty be bountiful and lumpy," she waves her hand to the treasure chest, playing along with the jokes. "Choco it up ta a latta sharing, yar! Enjoy it folks," she bows to the cafe and waves both hands towards the treasure chest, like presenting a grand gift.


"Ooooh," she points at Sonja, "Great choice, Ramis knows his effects. But do not ask me ta make any vehicles from the franchise," she warns the monkey Beast. "Too expensive."


"OH ho ho ho, well orange you a colorful once Vince," she gives him a cheeky grin, "And you think the booty I have worked so hard ta hone, so sculpted by my actions," she puts her hands on her hips and faux pouts at him, "Would have habenero in it? I shant ruin cocoa like that. Or betray friends matey."


After a moment she laughs, "Nor risk some child snatching some, screaming in pain, and having ta run from the cops in this outfit. But! Trust and flavour, those are important too. Ya can bet the bacon on that. Butting out on the booty," Circe moves her hands from her hips and raises her left hand, index finger up, "Who are ya dressed as? I honestly don't recognize it beyond Halloween colors."

[Seraphina]

The Nix laughed at Sonnie’s announcement, gently shaking her head in amusement, handing Sonnie her drink.

“Ohhh! That’s a good movie, a classic.” It wasn’t scary, but it was fun!

A hand was raised in greeting when Vincent appeared, “Hey Vincent! And that is truly the struggle when it comes to Halloween, finding a costume you like. Though I find I have too many and want to wear them all but never can.” A slight frown.

Amused sapphires watch the exchange from Circe, sipping her own mug of warm cider. “You know, this might be better then watching a movie.” Nodding as she continued to sip. "But what about bacon covered chocolate? I think I could get behind that."

"Yo, Vinnie!" She waved at the arriving Courtless. "And I didn't offer her booty up for biting. She did that herself. I just advertised the offer."

Seraphina provided the requested drink, and Sonnie happily accepted it. "Thanks!" She sipped some of the wassail for a taste test. After a moment of lip smacking, she nodded approvingly, "Mmm, cinnamon-y!"

"Oh, Jane Sparrow," she giggled at Circe, "Are you saying your booty is spicy?"

Fugly, having inhaled his treats, was now just wandering around the cafe sniffing at random people and looking for dropped food.

The Beast's head swiveled about curiously, "Wait, we have bacon?"

Vincent laughed, "Don't temp me with a good time Circe. And I am dressed as the spirit of Halloween, Samhain, or Sam for short. Not sure if you seen the Halloween classic Trick R Treat, but Sam is the embodiment of the Spirit of Halloween." Vincent paused, "I thought it fit the theme, plus I feel a bit of an affinity with him."

Vincent walked by and got himself a warm cider before continuing, "So are we trying to decide on a Halloween movie to watch?"

[Circe]

"Accessories are a further issue," she adds to Seraphina's talk on costumes. "Sadly, all the 80s action costumes that'd give me the best accessories, require going topless chest," she smirks.


"Baroness Buccaneer of Bacon," she turns on Sonja with a laugh and bow, even waving her hat as a flourish, "And its Beckett that trades in spices," she plops the tricorn back on her head before she scoffs, "And why would we NOT have choco bacon booty?"


Circe takes out a pair of glasses from inside her coat. Quickly putting them on before folding her arms, "Who the Hell do ya think I am?!"

Had she bought those glasses just to quote a memetic Anime character? Well, yes. Yes, she had done that.


She looks at Vincent as he explains whom he is. She, well, wasn't familiar with the movie. "I have not done either, I will not lend out be roaring brig nor cannons tonight. Sounds like a movie for traumatizing kids," she admits to Vincent.


Circe, done with the flourishes, acquires her own cider to sip. "Warm," then she turns her back to the counter, leaning against it adjacent to her booty chest. "Yuuuup," she pops the P as she answers Vincent, "Well, I am considering it. Other option involves more vigilante fun times on muggers." She sips her cider, "It is tough choice, but one is currently a group activity, so more weight there."

[Seraphina]

Laughing, “That’s an important service you’re providing there Sonnie, advertising.” As a business owner, she knew this.

A pout to Sonnie, “No, we don’t. But when chocolate was mentioned, and then chocolate covered things, my mind went to bacon. Chocolate covered bacon.” Cause it sounded good!

Did Vincent not know Circe went by Mary? She wasn’t sure. “Oh! I like that name! Circe! Captain Circe!” she declares with a grin.

If you asked her, Autumn was the embodiment of Halloween, but that was probably different. “Not a movie I’m familiar with either.”

Head tilts to the side, “Well, if it’s topless you want, there are clubs in the city that cater to that.” It didn’t bother her, and she’d go with the Summer if she wanted to go.

"Chocolate covered bacon," the Steepscrambler pondered the idea like it was a deep philosophical question. "Fascinating. We may need to experiment."

Halloween was fun and all, but in her mind Thanksgiving was the embodiment of Autumn. Cozy times and lots and lots of food. Also, turkeys were funny.

Sonnie blinked and tilted her head curiously, "What? Are we going to a strip club now? What's happening?" Choco-bacon had caused her to space out and she had lost track of the conversation.
