Sera had heard talk about this place called Coin-Op Game Room, and she decided to check it out. Because when was the last time there was a bar with old school arcade style games?!Not to mention they had outdoor Jenga and other similar games that can be played sitting down, or standing, outside! Fun times all around! And the Nix was always down for some fun! And to be honest, she needed it.

It was later in the evening, because she wanted to experience the patio and what it had to offer.

The drink menu was big, and she had a hard time deciding on what she wanted to try. But then something caught her eye, an Off-Road Colada, and it sounded delicious! So of course, she got it and began walking around, looking at the different arcade games. The flower from her drink was tucked behind her ear.

Casual was the look for the night with loose airy pants and a white fitted tank. Which showed a little toned stomach. But it was comfortable! The Treasured wore no jewelry except for a blue diamond ring that matched her eyes on her right hand. A red lip added a playful and sexy vibe to the whole look.

Some were true classics, and she wasn’t sure which to play first! But she had all night and a bunch of quarters! A few friends had been sent texts Circe Sonnie Wu , telling them she challenged them to some old school arcade games!

Off work and looking for something to do, the curious monkey arrived at the bar-slash-arcade. She was dressed in denim cut offs, a black tank top and flip-flops! Mask hardened, she removed her sunglasses as she came inside and looked around the place.

"Whoa," she said, amazed, "A video arcade? This is like my childhood." She had grown up in the 80s, after all.

Spotting the Emerald Queen, the Beast waved and strolled on over, "Hiiiii! How'd you find this place? It's so cool!"

Already her eyes were straying towards the menu.

[Circe]

A blast of heat follows Sonja Wu inside, at least until the Mantle gets drawn down. A currently brunette Circe was more conservative in her dress, in that she needed the pockets of full shorts to keep certain things in her, well, cargo pockets, and the chic combat boots were a nice match for the black shorts. A shoulder holster was out as it would interfere with her choice of shirt that she felt was fitting for this trip down memory lane.


That zombies are a regular safe opponent in most arcade games just makes it funnier.


Circe was getting hit with nostalgia at the sight of this arcade. Such a set up was common whence she was taken, not so much now. It was such a trip she'd has resting up to of her head are Circe's vinely crafted hedgespun glasses, albeit not so fantastic to mortal eyes. "Well I'm totally stoked at this Hellacious trip down memory lane," she looks at a game with an attract mode that looks like a fusion cuisine of Star Trek and Giger's Alien, "Huh, think I remember that one. Oooh, triple player too. Fingers crossed, no spaz flashbacks."


"Damn right Sonny, Sarah made a great find fer our posse, it is bad ta the bone Sarah, oh ho ho!" Circe is talking with her hands gesticulating. It could have been worse. She could have decided to fluff out her hair into a mullet and dress totally 80s retro instead of just grabbing some shades.

The Treasured waves back happily, “Hey!” she greets before taking a sip from her straw, “Oh a customer at the coffee shop recommended it and I thought it sounded like a lot of fun! Drinks *and* arcade games?! Yes!” nodding to the server, “She can be on my tab.” Looking at the menu as well, “There’s a lot of yummy looking stuff.” Where to start?

Turning at the voice, she beams, “Hey Mary! Glad you could make it too!” they were going to totally kick ass at all these games!

Holding her drink and leaning against the bar to look at all the games, “So, does anyone have a favorite we have to play? Or maybe one you absolutely hate and that we still have to play?” laughing with a wink.

"Mary, Mary, quite contrary!" she smiled and waved to Circe as the blue elf arrived.

After looking around the place again, she turned to Sera, "Well, first, I'm ordering some pretzel bites and a soda, then I'm gonna hit that Street Fighter II cabinet I see over there. Chun Li is my girl and she needs to put M. Bison down. Then later we'll do some Time Crisis!"

Hearing that Sera was running a tab made her happy. "Thank you! I'll try not to let my stomach bankrupt you today."

[Circe]

"They have a menu?" She comes over to Seraphina to look at said menu. "Who wanna party and ding on the wing fer me I'd say, oh ho ho!"

That seemed like a good combo.


"Ah, the gal that can kick a tank ta death." Was her amused reply to Sonja's suggestion, "How many allow for triple players? We could time crunch it in ta avoid that temporal crisis," she giggles for fun. "Otherwise, maybe that tank game over there, Golden Axe or that Star Trek knock off. I don't know." Circe shrugs unsure.

It had been an age-longer-more since she'd been to an arcade. Had she ever been to an arcade? She couldn't remember. She - can't - she - breathe, gritting her teeth-and-fangs, smelling heat-and-gasoline, until that's gone because she can't-not hide in this arcade(ian) space. Wearing her smiley boots, an a pair of tie dye rainbow overhaul shorts, once she got on the same thrift store haul as the sunflower ones and the pastel rainbow crop top, and her cupcake shirt. It's also a crop top now, or it has been for a while. Since she went out to a club-bar and needed something to wear because she wanted to have some fun. Like today.

So. She venture's forth.

And sees Queens Summer and Spring, and the knight of the latter.

She offers them a grin-wave-"Hi!"

She follows to where Sonnie indicates, nodding, “Sounds like fun! Not sure if I’ve played that one, but I’m down to give it a try!” arcades were not a place she had been allowed as a kid. Though when she escaped, she had visited a few, but the names of the games escaped her.

Laughing, “My bank account would appreciate that.” Totally joking.

Nodding to Circe, “Full menu and bar!” at the mention of wings, “I have heard they have a pretty good sauce for their wings.” If what she’s heard is true.

Shrugging, “Not sure! But I’m totally ok with rotating turns or whatever. I can play the cheerleader for whoever’s playing. I didn’t bring my uniform, but I can still do the job!” she declares.

What drew her eyes to Rlyeh was the overalls. They were so colorful and bright!

“Hey!” greeting the Summer, “I love those overalls! So bright and colorful and perfect for summer!” that settled it, she was going shopping with the fox.

“We were just deciding on food and sharing what our favorite arcade games are and where to start.” Encouraging her to share if she wanted.

"HI!" she waved excitedly at Rlyeh! Sure, she was happy to see the oily fox, but most of her excitement was the fact she just found the classic video game Gauntlet. "We are SO playing this! All four of us! But first... Monkey needs food, badly!"

Spinning on her heel, she went to the food counter and ordered what she said she would, some pretzel bites and a large soda. Booze didn't feel right in an arcade. This was a place for sugary colas. Also, Sonnie was kind of a lightweight when it came to alcohol.

Her order was filled quickly, and she popped a hot knot of pretzel into her mouth. "Mmmmm, salty."
