Every year, on the outskirts of town, a local farm hosts a pumpkin patch and haunted maze! Well, haunted in the evening, during the day it’s family friendly. But right now, as dusk sets in and the lights dim, the scares were a plenty!
They had various booths setup where local farmers and artsy people laid their wares for all to see! Some had wonderful and spooky Halloween treats! Everything from cookies with too many eyes to, wait, ghost poop?! Some had handmade decorations, a little something to appeal to all décor tastes. Some vendors offered fresh apple pies and ciders; made from the apples they grew. There was face painting for the young and old at heart as well as funny stand-ups made for people to take silly pictures! Who doesn’t love a souvenir photo with their friends?
Then there was the various bounce houses setup! No age limit set, you want to feel young again and bounce? You are more than welcome!
As a new addition, they had added carnival style games mixed in among a pumpkin village! Can you get the ring onto the witches hat?! Nothing too difficult, just fun games that anyone could play to win cheap Halloween themed prizes.
The entrance into the corn maze was a bit different this year, it looked like a covered bridge leading into the entrance! They offered glow sticks in various colors for anyone who wanted one, and maps. You can hear the screams and laughs from people attempting the maze!
