Call to Seraphina

[Ram]

Ram decided to check on Seraphina and her offer to sit down. Texting still felt strange and impersonal, especially contacting a Monarch. So the Ogre punched in the number on the small handheld device. Which also still felt kind of weird to not need a landline. Definitely useful but there was something almost magical about cell phones that he didn't quite trust.

Ring Ring

It only rang a few times before the Nix answered, "Hello?" comes the angelic and upbeat voice.

[Ram]

"Hey, uh, Sera, it's Ram. You mentioned a bit ago about having a sit down. And uh," there was a rumbling through the phone that sounded a bit like low static "Eleanor mentioned you might be able to help with some tailoring stuff. Not that you'd have to. Either way," he added quickly, not wanting to impose "I know you're busy."

[Seraphina]

“Hi Ram! Great to hear from you!” and she truly sounded glad, “And I am never too busy to sit down and talk! And help with tailoring? I can do that.” She wondered if he meant Hedgespinning or regular tailoring? Both she could do. “Did you want to come to my coffee shop or meet somewhere else? Either way, I will happily free my schedule!”

[Ram]

"Sure, coffee shop would be nice." Hell, the Nix could have said land fill and it would probably still sound like heaven the way she spoke "You doing anything on [date/time]?"

[Seraphina]

“Great!” it was easy enough to close the shop early for the night. “I have nothing planned, so it works out perfectly! The sign will say it’s closed for a private event, but the door will be unlocked. I look forward to seeing you!”

"Okay, sounds like a plan. Uh, see you then," Ram finished a little awkwardly.
