(Open) All Hallows Party

[Ingrid]

"Magic because bar keep is a wizard of the cocktail. Try and see. You won't be disappointed." Ingrid respond to the big bear in their midst. She even pushed a glass toward Cricket with a look of ecstatic encouragement. She held the lanky comedian's gaze for slightly longer than necessary as he spoke of 'fairy dust' and 'eye of newt' but drew away in the end with a valuable shrug.

The man Kaze rescued her.

"Well hello!" She purred as the handsome man finished catching up with Cricket. Ingrid propped her chin on her hand and openly admired the athletic man in his Karate gear.

Anyone watching Ingrid would note how her eyes slid briefly back to the dance floor when a familiar voice (@Circe) boomed out. For the moment, Ingrid said nothing and let her gaze drift back to Kaze.

[Kaze]

"Oh, hi!" Kaze says. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." he quickly apologizes to Ingrid and Cricket for just barging in on their 'conversation'.

He stops for just a second, noticing her, noticing him. He looks slightly self conscious, whether for his poor performance on the dance floor or his simple costume or just the ethereal, regal quality of the woman looking at him!

"I. I'm 'Case'." he says, manfully determined to be polite and not make assumptions, holding out his hand to shake hands with the woman. "You're outfit is awesome. Really classy!" he says with a subtle but unmistakable California accent.

[Seraphina]

“I like your ideas better, sounds a lot more fun than simply finding a hat. Might have to steal that.” A wink.

“Do they come in other colors? Cause if memory serves me right, there is a whole bunch of Care Bears in various colors.” Oh she was soo getting one.

Sapphires look back to the dance floor, secretly wishing she had that much confidence out there. A stage? Hell yah. Dancing? Not so much.

A smirk, she liked games. Games were fun.

“Well, I can’t speak for how magical the drinks are, but if my friend here says they are, then they are.” Plain and simple. “Now more specific things,” a shrug, “well, they don’t just give those to anyone. Some people can’t handle newt eye and things get messy.” She could play along.

The karate guy get a once over, as he calls the Care Bear Jimmy. Calls himself Case.

“Hi Case.” Greets the Nix with a smile, taking a sip of water. “Food prep?” asks the angelic voice, “Come on, it’s Halloween!” no time for food talk.

Wait, was that, Circe?! Eyes move around the room before finding the Summer Queen on the dance floor.

[Circe]

The blueberry elf turned Koopa queen was up to meeting the ghost man's challenge. And proved a shell on her back was something she could just shake off to the sick beats.

She leaned forward, bending at the waist to present a tempting image. The any seductive grace to her smile was lost thanks to the fanged dentures but the mischief was unmistakable in her eyes, "Who's yer favorite Princess?"

[Kaze]

Kaze is stunned at Seraphina's approach. "Wow. I mean." her looks, her raw presence, her voice...for the second time since coming to Sacramento, he's encountered a woman who outshines any he'd met in Los Angeles or anywhere else.

He smiles at the goddess, "Yeah. I know. I tried dancing. And I don't drink. So...conversation." he replies. He turns to watch the woman dancing who seems to have captured the stage.

[Ingrid]

Ingrid tilted her head and dropped her eyes demurely at Kaze compliment.

"Oh! Oh! Conversation. We can do conversation!"

Her eyes bounced back up, darting between Case and Seraphina, both of whom had announced their aversion to the demon drink.

"What made you choose the Reverence, I wonder? There are plenty of other places to go around?"

She turned to "Jimmy" Cricket .

"Oh yes! All those spooky thrills! What spooky thrills are you into tonight?"

The smile, thin thought it was, was pure mischief.

[Kaze]

Kaze smiles at Ingrid's question, "I really didn't have any plans, and just...went out looking for something interesting." he shrugs, "I hope it wasn't supposed to be 'invite only', I guess I kind of crashed it. Great party." he says, looking around again. "Do you know who's hosting it?" he asks. "If they're around, I should definitely tell them thanks." he says thoughtfully. "Maybe find out if it's a fund raiser or something, and make a donation." he muses.

[Seraphina]

Whoa, looked like Circe was totally owning that dance floor!

Smiling back, “Well, no worries about not drinking, I don’t drink either.” A hand waved dismissively. “As to dancing? I'll just say you don't want to see my attempt to dance." a shake of her head, "And conversation can be so much fun!” especially on Halloween. Where no one was what they seemed.

Laughing, “I’m gonna do it! See how much fun I can have with it.” She could totally be Cloud Baronesses Victoria.

She plays along, listening intently, “I shall go on an adventure and find this place! Something tells me if there is a rainbow being offered, I might just have a whole drawer full of those! Might even have to wear them around town.” Cause why not?

The Nix wasn’t sure if Ingrid was talking to her or not, so she takes a sip of water, sapphires watching the two guys.

Then the other question, and the smile, had Sera giggling.
