Lost and Coffee

[Seraphina]

After hours at Garden Grounds. The staff was gone for the night, but there was still fresh, hot coffee, aromatic tea and yummy goodies on display.

Sera kept the place open for a couple hours after hours for other Lost who might need a place to rest, or just want something hot to drink at no cost to them. She’d spread word through the Freehold of this, so those would know that even though the sign said ‘Closed’ it was open for them.

Tonight Sera can be found sitting at a table, a giant cup of coffee in her hands staring down at various papers spread in front of her. The soft glow of the fairy lights playing up the Treasured gilded skin.

Her attire for the night was a little dressier than one might expect, but she enjoyed looking her best. Even if that meant putting in some extra effort. The dress was a soft orange color and made of suede. Metal studs decorated the straps and it hugged her curves like a second skin. Her hair appeared shorter, but was actually artfully tucked and pinned, framing her face. A music note hair pin sat nestled within. Nude strappy sandals were on her feet and her makeup was minimal, she didn't need it.

Who wears short shorts? Echo wears short shorts!

Manoeuvring around her....legs (and tail) is annoying, and difficult sure she could spend a lick of glamour and make them disappear, but she's no quitter!

So shorts are shimmied on, followed by tightes, that kinda have a boots feel, since people have to wear shoes for some godforsaken reason, and her black as sin flip flops, because technically she is wearing shoes duh.

BUt whatever! A a purr-fect top and a flirty jacket thrown over, and tada! She's ready to hit the town, paint it red. Get her par-tay on, but-hey. Wait.

Garden Grounds.....coffee?

Yes. All the coffee!

"Hell-oooO!" she calls out pushing the door open. Blade sharp eyes darting hither and yon as the Lioness takes in the....everything about the cafe.

"Sera-phina!" she grins, "Hi! This your place?" she asks bouncing over to the golden goddess. "Dose that mean as a fellow sister in the verdant vocation, I get free coffee?" Echo, always asking the most pressing of questions.

The door opens and sapphires look up to see Echo.

Looking just as sexy as ever. How did the girl get the confidence to wear what she thinks are shorts?

Smiling as the cup is set down and the papers are shuffled into folders, the Nix stands,

“Echo! Great to see you.” Greets the angelic voice. “Let me say, I love the outfit! Wish I had the confidence to wear those shorts!” she gushed. Not that Sera lacked confidence, she knew she was smoking and turned heads wherever she went. But shorts that tiny took a different type of confidence.

“And yes, this is mine.” Arms were held out to either side of her a smile of pride on her face.

Moving behind the counter, “Of course it does, all the time! And pasty should you want one.” A wink. The Treasured was clearly ready to make whatever the Darkling ordered.

[Echo]

"Sera of Phina! You are as the sun, none will ever shine as you do," she calls, "Me and my....legs pale in comparison to your radiant glory!" she coos, sounding flattering and entirely sincere.

"Bravo!" she claps, bouncing from paw to paw. "This is quite impressive! Spring, the waking after Winter. Twined with caffeine...purrr-fection!"

"Ohmagawdyuss!" she gets out in a squeal, "Oooooh! One of those glitter ones, they are sooo pretty!" she did an excited shimmy. Swaying in place as she takes in the displays, "Ooooh yes! A pastry! That one! Please?" pointing to one with a chocolate drizzle.

[Seraphina]

Another musical laugh, “Well, the skin kinda helps that.” She says with an amused smile and gestures at her golden skin. “We should go shopping sometime, I bet you could talk me into somethings I wouldn’t normally buy.” Plus, it could be fun. She bets this Echo was a blast in a store.

“Thank you! It was a lot of hard work and sweat to make it come to life.” She was quite proud of her achievement. Even if no one else saw how wonderful it was, she did and that was enough.

At the request, educated hands set to making the glitter coffee. Which was only coffee with the edible glitter on top of it in a foam. It only took a few moments, they had mastered being quick with the glitter topping, and the coffee was already made.

The cup was set in front of Echo, the multi colored glitter catching the soft fairy lights.

“Ah, a woman after my own heart with the chocolate!” the pastry was removed and set on a dish and handed to her.

“Wanna sit down? I’d love to her more about you.” She gestures to the table she had been sitting at earlier. But first she grabs a coffee carfe and refills her own mug.

[Echo]

Hopping from paw to paw she watches avidly, with all the intensity of those of the feline puuur-suasion as the Nix expertly makes the glittery confection.

She lets out another moan once the glitter and caffeinated goodness is within reach sipping at it immediately she gives the Proprietress a grin, glitter moustache in place, and glitter decorated her fangs.

"Totally coming back!" she says nodding, snagging her pastry before flouncing off to the table she first saw Sera at. Only to jump as any frightened cat at the sound of John's voice.

"Ohmagawd! Wear a bell!" hand over heart and eyes wild as she stares at the mirror man.

Sera didn’t like to think she was a jumpy person. But she loved horror movies, and as such, was jumpy.

So the unexpected voice was startling.

Widened sapphires seek and find the owner of the voice, a hand on her chest. “You know John, that’s not funny.” But she sets to work making his coffee anyways, moving back behind the counter. “I’m totally going to install a bell on that door.” She says over her shoulder.

Smiling to Echo as she hands John his coffee, “Glad to hear it! We also do open mic nights if you like singing or watching people sing.” Some people just weren’t singers.

Nodding, “I’ll get a bell for him too.” She says to Echo with a wink. “Oh, this is John,” she gestures to him before sitting back down and piling folders in a neat pile, “John, this is Echo.” Sip of coffee.
