Fight Club 2 - Supernal Bugaloo

I'm thinking we're going to make a thread for each match and run the threads concurrently but hand-wave they happen sequentially. That way everyone can comment on each match.

Also I'm going to hand-wave the usual speech restrictions in combat so everyone can talk freely during each 'Turn'.

Sorry to usurp the narrative on pairings but I think pairing by relative Experience is the best bet.

Greenish eyes flickered over. Nope. Not talking about that.

"Just that you got stuck with me and I've been, like, doing this a little longer."

Long fingers waggled at the Gatorade bottle. Share.

Yep. Not Alone. No talky Stuff.

"Well yeah. But you're not an asshole."

One more swig before the Gatorade is handed over to mister grabby hands.

"And this is practice. How am I gonna get better if we don't, you know, actually practice?"

[Star]

Eh. He's just not an asshole to his girls. Everyone else? Shhhhhh.

"So. Practice. What'd you think, doing the Fate stuff a little less and the everything else a little more? Gotta say. You're, like, hard as heck to hit when you go all Matrix mode."

Could she see it? How quick-blurred she was. He took a drink and offered the bottle back.

"Not a bad way to get down, lighting that up first and then go into support casting?"

"Weird. Like mega weird. But also. Not." Tuesday's tongue presses against her teeth as she tried to explain it. "Like I've been Fate'ing. Since. Yeah. Awesome. But neglecting Time. Which is bad. Since it's half of my soul. So. It's weird 'cause I'm not used to it. But at the same time it sings because it's right."

Head shifts. Hazels go for the mop headed angel. does that make sense? light in her eyes.

"Flash-speed? That's addictive eh eff. But yeah. Totally throwing that on. Feed mana to it when I need to. I can be where I need to to get my buffs out to peeps." she knew she wasn't a front liner, nature of her soul, even if she was scrappy.

Well she tasted grass. So. She could deduce what the heck had happened.

...hazels open.

Meeting greenish ones and she feels a fingers twining hers.

"Hi." she rasps out, there's something tender in her hazels.

She pushes herself up, a lopsided smile on her lips.

Long fingers squeezed Tuesday's for a moment, a grin hiding the omgowowow.

"All my game's on point. That's just how I do."

He felt empty. Been forever and a day since he'd used up all his glitter, and he'd had to Scour some up for the last cast. Empty and half-dead. Okay, quarter dead. Maybe a sixteenth. But that's still partly dead. Angels and glitter, yo. The connection is real. Tapped out was like pumpkin pie with no Cool-Whip or a guitar without strings.

"You okay?"

Maybe he hovered. Seeing her get knocked out twice was about as much fun as zero glitter.

Chariot rocked back on his heels as Tuesday's associate scrambled over to tend to her, his face worried. Once she sits up and complements her friend, he breaths out in relief. "Tuesday, I'm sorry. Do you think you'll be alright?"

The question comes out tentatively, not wanting to intrude but still wanting to make sure Tuesday was recovering.

Tuesday squeezes back. "Totally almost as good as your dessert game." weak joke is weak.

She's a concerned Unicorn. She's seen a Star grin, and frowns and a lot of the in between things.

That wasn't a good Star-grin.

Unicorn frowns, but to hide it - badly - she stretches a little to check.

"Still a bit stiff. But I'm good." a not-frowny face. "Char-dude. Yeah. I'm good. We were sparing. It's not like you tried to cut me open or anything." a grin and a hand wave.

Hazels peer at the angel, and whispers.

"You? Are you okay?"

"Out of gas. Hungry 'n sleep. Sleepy."

His face scrunched up and he blinked. Really, that's all it was. Besides wanting to see if Tuesday was up for a snuggle-nap, which would be awkward and wrong on all the levels. Which kind of sucked, since if there wasn't Stuff it'd be just fine. Aside from being totally in the middle of Consilium sparring.

"Soooooo." Yeeeep. Topic change "That was solid, right? That fight? How'd you two think it'd go without, like, Armor?"
