The more the merrier, Strix thought as more mages joined the growing number of people that were drawn here, filing away what names he could catch for later.
"Any information can be better than none at all, ya know? Better than keeping it to yourself and it turning up later to be important." Strix offered to Fisher when she seemed a little irritated with herself. It wasn't like his contribution to the whole thing had been all that helpful, either. If you looked close enough you could find death anywhere.
Of course, it didn't particularly make him want to share about his dreams simply because everyone seemed in a sharing mood. That he dreamed about being a sleeper or dying in some parking garage wasn't really important to anyone but himself, and he'd rather like to think that neither of the two things actually would come to happen.
The whole deadline situation was much more interesting to deal with. Dangerous, for sure, and very serious, so they better take care of it quickly. They just had to figure out what was happening. Easier said then done, he guessed, but they'd try.
When he heard the date offered by July, he made a thoughtful noise before asking, "Couldn't someone take a look what happened during that date? Or isn't it specific enough for that...spell...where a mage can look into the past?" It could be an important date that had something to do with the Circle — only Strix had no talent for Time, so he wasn't sure just what was actually needed to do that trick.
He'd just seen a few mages back in his hometown do it every once in a while.

Selfish. Varyx had been thinking that about herself quite a lot. She felt that way as she considered how it made her feel a little better to think that she wasn't the only one with dreams of doing horrific things if pushed to it. She wasn't the only one who turned to the Exarchs in this hypothetical future. A relief to know she wasn't the only one walking that razor-thin line.
A smile as her Councilor appeared, which remained even despite the bloody nose. She pulled a tissue from her purse and held it out. "Avis," she greeted. A short chuckle escaped at the black cat comment. "Red pill, blue pill, I'll take whatever you've got if it means understanding what's happening here."
Her attention shifted to July and his mention of a date. Why, oh why did she know so much about that particular date in time?
That was the month the Titanic began (and ended) its fateful voyage. It was the month Bram Stoker died, and Kim Il Sung was born.
Why did she know this? Her memory, despite being in a haze concerning anything of real importance, seemed to zero in on the date with surprising precision.
Now it was just a question of whether or not any of her memories were useful.
Heading inside with everyone else, and completely consumed by trying to work out what was happening, Runner completes misses anything that may have otherwise caught his attention.
Listening to the many and various conversations that everyone seems to throwing together forms not a conversation, but a chaos of words and ideas. Catching only a few of them though sparks Runner's attention What's this? Places missing? People missing!? What else has changed? What else can change? Seeing Wayland walk away from the group Runner decides that he'll have to catch up with him later.
It seems that we all had similar experiences, I bet if we compared notes we'd find some very similar events. Looking around the room at all the mages, both new and old, it was not difficult to spot those that were having an easier time coping than some of the others. Having a moment of potential revelation I wonder if the sleeper community had similar dreams. If they did, do they remember? If not, how were the mages specifically targeted? I mean it's not like the Seers know all of us.
When Avis appears not to far away, Runner heads over. "Ma'am, it's good to see you again."
Turning to Varyx with a smile "And you too ma'am, I hope you have enough of those pills for all of us. I haven't had the opportunity to introduce myself... My name is Runner."

Three weeks? Strange dreams? Our enemies on the move? Considering the content of his own dreams that seems to be a safe assumption. It is a warning that concerned them all.
Overhearing Fisher, Truce's eyes move from Varyx to the Shaman. Should he know something about this powerful working? Had it always been there but he never noticed? What else hadn't he noticed? What else had changed?
Truce takes in his surroundings, his eyes falling upon the pavement on the ground and notices it shifting ever so slightly in a consistent rhythm.
"The floor is moving," he notes aloud. "I think it has something to do with the clock you mentioned, Fisher. This whole structure may be counting down to something. And you say you've felt a warning of something that will occur in three weeks, um, Tuesday, is it?"
Truce claps his hands together for attention. "Okay. Let's come to order, people. I'm still not quite sure what's going on, but we mustn't waste time if there is danger approaching. First off, Herald Varyx, let's determine who is missing who ought to be here as well as who is new. Flidais and Emrys of Temoins du Sud are gone and I received a letter not too long ago of my apprentice, Miach's, departure from the city. And aside from Wayland, it seems Steel Phoenix is disbanded. You, sir." Truce points to the unassuming bearded man Strix . "I don't know you."
He doesn't linger on the fact but turns to the next officer. "Sentinel July, you said that April 1912 has something to do with our current situation? Perhaps that's when the Circle was built? Perhaps we should investigate the purpose for which it was designed. Those with sufficient skill with the working of Postcognition please step forward. Perhaps we can perform a ritual to find an answer."
Looking to Avis he suggests, "Councilor Avis. Do you think it would be appropriate to organize a ritual Warding for the Circle, at least until we know the extent of this danger?"
Looking to the new guy July said, "can't really look back if you don't know where you're looking. All I gathered was the exact time of something, not where, and I'd need that to know where to go back. I remember something about San Diego and the Police chief happening around that time though." In fact, July remembered it strangely well. After more than 200 members of the Industrial Workers of the World had been put in the city's jail, the police chief in San Diego, California had the prisoners released into the hands of vigilantes. The mob escorted the "Wobblies" to the county line, beat them, and warned them never to return. It was something July could have seen himself doing at one point in time. Maybe in a different life. Maybe in this one...
Then Runner made playful banter with Varyx. Strange how appropriate the Matrix was to awakened life. He instead focused on Truce as he brought order, something sorely needed at this moment of confusion. After the last meeting he preferred a Councilor to do it than have people feel the Sentinel was trying to take over the meeting. As he was addressed he added, "as I said, we don't know specifically what location the date and time are in reference too, but if we can figure that out I can help with any postcognition."

I'll have to google 'fisher' though. 'Cause yeah I totally didn't get the mammal part I thought fisherman or-ah fisherwoman. Or you know...the bird." she admits with a sheepish shrug. "Hedge Witch huh? Well if you do need some cursing done. I've been known to tip the scales a time or two."
Then the women pulls her hands out of her pockets and flails them about. "A shammy! Awesome! You could help me with Spirit. Would you?" she asks, "I'm an Initiate." she explains. Then she blinks as the 'arrow' part rings in her mind. "Yeah...about that. No Order for me....I'm more of a...Lone Unicorn."
The bookish late comer speaks and Tuesday bounces from foot to foot, her eyes focused downward trying to see the moving floor. Varyx so that's what Vanessa's Shadow Name is. Cool. And the chick would portal'ed in with a bloody nose was Avis. Counselor.
"Yeah. Tuesday. And also yeah. Three Weeks. Capitals. That's when we'll have the opportunity to Fix This. More capitals." Tuesday explains.
Then just like that the urban cowboy, the sentinel - July - took the words right out of her mouth. Well except for..."No precog voyeurism for me. Err. I don't know any Space. So...I can't do any long range precog scrying...But yeah I can precog if needed." The words that just came out of her mouth would be the long way of saying yes. "Looking back into this places history would be the starting point yeah? Then if that's a bust we could start looking at other places for the April 1912 Significance."
