Ok, no, this woman is fucking savage in a grapple. Break away, break away! Ramona does her best to throw Brittany away from her, but the vampire is fast enough and skilled enough to keep coming in, inside the ogre's reach, and hammering her ribs, forcing Ramona back to the edge of the cage.

-1 WP, Ramona takes 5 bashing damage. She is still on her feet, and if I understand the rules correctly, not suffering wound penalties yet.

Ramona takes 3 bashing and 1 lethal damage. She says conscious, but obeying the rules of this tournament, I'm throwing in the towel.

That last hit. Ramona feels something crackle. Brittany might hear a creak, a sound more accustomed to bones made out of the traditional matrix of connective tissue, rather than stone. A spike of pain shoots through her torso, deeper than any of the other hits. She could keep fighting. It's not like she can't give back. The anger and shame building up inside her tells her to do it, throw off this attacker, and knock her out with a single all-or-nothing blow. But that's a risk. Against the fae she'd take it. In a fight just for fun and bragging rights? No. Covering her head with both arms, Ramona goes to one knee, then reaches out a hand to slap the mat twice, hard. It stings. Not her ribs, the surrender. God it hurts. But it's the smart thing to do. And nobody survives on brawn alone.

Wayland heard the responding bet from the scruffy man over the din of the crowd. "Sounds good bro. Five-hundred on the hard chick!"

As the fight begins, Wayland actually feels nervous, and excited. There will probably be no death here, but a good fight still rouses the Soul. From the outset though, his assessment of the powder-puff girl is turned completely on its head as they clinch and she proceeds to unleash a set of devestating blows.

"Ohh shit! Did i just see that?!?" As the other woman taps out on the ring floor, Wayland turns to the scruffy man, who is looking expectantly, and hands over the cash. "Five-hundred cash. Wasnt expecting that yo."

[Konrad Roth]

Though Konrad had offered the deal to Graves initially, her silence might come across as a lack of interest. Since the stranger seems keen on following through with the bet, Konrad isn't about to refuse him.

The match itself is a surprise. Despite the risk he took in betting on his unproven cousin, she comes through spectacularly with some impressive close combat. "That's hot," remarks Konrad with a smirk.

When the cash comes his way, Konrad's smirk spreads into a grin. "Big things come in small packages," he says with satisfaction as he accepts the payment. A lucky break. "Maybe you can win it back next time," he adds encouragingly.

Learn from this, she tells herself, even as her ribs ache and her pride burns. It's ok to lose. Someone's always better. Learn from this. She doesn't enjoy reaching out and taking Brittany's hand, accepting her help up to her feet. But she does it anyway. Ramona's used to doing lots of things she doesn't enjoy. "Yeah," she replies to Brittany, hesitating a moment, "Me too." Cradling her ribs with one arm, she moves to the cage exit, towards the medical area. One show for the whole night, and she had to go up against an expert and blow it. How disappointing.

Interrupted by the fight beginning, Chuck slipped his phone back into his pocket and watched as the brief match unfolded. It was far quicker than he expected and either Ramona couldn't take a beating or those punches to her ribs were explosive. From the speed and accuracy Brittany was throwing them, he suspected it was the latter.

After the fight he pulled out a business card that listed his email and phone number and offered it to Konrad. "Call me some time will you?" He requested, waiting momentarily for Konrad's response before heading towards where the ladies were exiting the cage.

"Good fight." He offered Brittany "You need a drink?" he asked with a casual smile and a slight nod towards the bar.
