Searching the Stalker

Time and time again, the Sacramento Stalker had come up. In the news. On the Basement Board. The police couldn't catch him. The body count was rising. The sewers were part of it, but doing anything blindly could lead to the Doctor becoming the next victim. Doc Marcus and Doctorow needed more information if they were going to get anything started.

There the two sat, in Ryan's dining room, with technology, coffee, a map of Sacramento, all of the Sac Bees regarding the Stalker, and a platter of sandwiches spread out on Ryan's big dinner table. It was time to see what they could determine any pattern from what had been found.

"So, how do you want to do this?" Ryan asked. It was time to get started.

"Lets start with what umm information we have. What do we umm know, where were the victems, and what distinctions umm do we have that says umm this is one of ours, and not just a umm psycho." The Hacker asked not looking up from his computer screen. Doctorow had up a google map on his computer and was dropping markers on the map

Dr. Marcus looked thoughtful for a moment as he sifted through the various paperwork on the subject. "One thing that makes me think this is one of ours is that there was a basement board posting about an interstate killer taking trophies and whatnot. By that, I mean, I'm referring to the Spiral's basement, where we all hang out. There's a board down there where people post about things that look supernatural in nature," he explained, not sure if anybody had ever described the inside of the Basement to the hacker.

"It said we had to contact someone named 'T.L' and a phone number was left. Then all this shit happens over most of the year, people go disappearing in droves from Fremont Park, and now in the newest Bee, we've got a guy who had been 'missed by the police' who had been investigating disappearances like the Stalker's in towns across the Midwest." Ryan took a sip of his drink, thinking on it for a moment longer.

"My thinking, we set up a little map of where all the disappearances happened, but we call this T.L. and see what he's got to add. If the Stalker is following a pattern, then T.L. might have seen how it plays out. And it seems that there is... pets and possessions disappearing," he motioned to the various clippings in the news, "Then kills." Other articles.

Doctorow spins the computer around, "Map set up, just need the um... locations of the ... attacks." Doctorow says and spins the computer back around and begins looking for information as to the locations.

As Doc Marcus scans the papers, he can find reference to Craig Bailey being taken from the playroom of his parent's house, and two mentions of Fremont Park in relation to Aaron Harris and Joseph McCall.

The hacker finishes his map and spins it for the Doctor to see. "Well, umm, what do you think, thats um... alot of victems." Doctorow says as he runs a hand through his hair.

Ryan frowned, staring at the map, looking at the time and location of the takes for any sort of pattern that might have formed... either there was one, or this really was random spree-grabbing, designed to confuse.

"Yeah, it is..." he says as he looks at the little points that are now on the map. "Let's see if there's a pattern in these times and locations... if not, we may want to call that guy to get some context on who this bugger is."
