The others quickly confirm what she's said, and find nothing else.

Nearing Brenn's find, faintly, is the hint of hollow musical tones. They're almost beneath the conscious auditory level, hollow and distorted by distance. If the Auspex users touch the panel, they can almost feel the reverberations.

Brenn shot a triumphant, lip-splitting grin at her companions and nodded towards the panel. "So," she whispered, "this is where the known road ends. Who wants to go in first? I have no problem leading the way again, but I don't know how we want to proceed? Are the Mole and Sunny awful jumpy?"
"Better that we stay together. If they are jumpy, we will need to be cohesive, if not, better to present a united front," Sidor said flatly, listening to the faint music. Hm. The dresses made him consider that it might be a good idea to keep the women towards the centre. He had no wish to expose them to such an unpleasant situation. "I suggest one of the Shadows takes point from here if you no longer have local knowledge, Miss Lawrence. All the better to ward from ambush with." The last thing they needed was any more 'surprises'.

Russell looks at Conner a few moments later, and very nearly raises a fist for a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors before remembering his Priscus' sense of humor. Or lack thereof. Would they both end up throwing scissors every time?
None of this is in Russ' tone as he states flatly, "If you've actually dealt with them before, be my guest."
