After the morning PT routine designed by Tug, West asked everyone to re-convene to discuss the Arrows next move: recovering the lost Soul Stones.
After a quick shower, West changed into his ubiquitous navy suit (no light colors after Labor Day, you uncouth wretches) and spread a map of the city out on a table and began studying it as he waited.

Tech comes out of the locker room dressed in black denim jeans, a black collared button up shirt, and a black skull cap beanie thing. He approached the table, staying sure to avoid looking at the part of the map where his Sanctum is, and waits for the Magister to speak. As he waits, though, he stands completely still, as close to at-attention as Technique knew how.

Tug was encouraged by the performance of the new Talons today. The big guy grinned as he entered the War Room; he'd be able to crank the program up further tomorrow. He joins West at the table, looking over the map. He sees Granite Park and wonders how many died on that little green square; he looks at Kruegan's Sanctum, and feels ill at the thought of how many mages, enlightened souls, were tortured and murdered like his brother while that small gray block lay in Banisher hands; the Tower Bridge, and what was at stake, why they wouldn't, couldn't fail. He waits quietly for the others to arrive and the Magister to begin the briefing.

Brent exited the locker room wearing a pair of trendy jeans and a plain black t-shirt, with a pair of black boots. He had left his bag and his large book in the locker, feeling his speciality would probably not be needed. However if it was he might need his work.

Seeing the map of the city he smiled. He has spent two years back in stafford researching glyphs over the city. A naturally occuring occult phenomena that he had been working to get rid of. He had hoped this was not going to be the same issue here.
Brent stands and waits for West to speak, chances are they were waiting on others.

Animus soon emerges, animal mannerisms just a bit more ragged than usual. Maybe it's just the recent exercise.
As he studies the map, memories team just below the surface. The city he had given so much for. Is it enough? Will it ever be enough? Whatever the answer, they needed to finish with these stones to ensure that the dreams so many had experienced didn't become reality.

With neat notations, West methodically marks the areas of interest; the Circle, the Museum, the Bridge, Kruegans, and the Church. Light lines echo the bands of ley energy that criss-cross the city.
"Animus, what do you know of where the Stones might be?" he asks as he completes the map.

|
|
Joshua had to hand it to Tug; the man knew the best ways to push a body to its limits. Maybe it was his Thyrsus path, maybe it was his footballer days; maybe it was both. Joshua felt a soreness, and a fulfillment, that he'd never been able to achieve with solo workout routines.
His calves burned so much from the plyometrics that it was a chore just to enter the Circle. He falters for a moment before joining West and Tug at the table, folding his arms over his chest while he looks down at the map wordlessly.

Animus nods briefly at Josh before returning to the map, his gaze noticeably sliding away from certain areas. "We've got two main ones. First is an office in city hall, several blueprints on display." His finger traces from city hall to a point not far from the Circle. "Second one's the Broadway branch of U. S. Bank. Completely dark, probably a safe-deposit box."

"City Planner or Architectural offices," West mused.
Easy.
"I'd also check to see if any of the city officers were architects or collected architectural art -- something like FLW prints, in case those are decorations," he added, already mentally dismissing the job.
The other one... not only unknown, but secure and highly illegal.
"Tug, you all take the that one. Joshua and I will do the Bank."
Matter would be highly useful, as would the ability to command darkness.
"And what about that Mystagogue girl, the Moros?" he asked Joshua, turning. "Are there any other Necromancers that you know of?"

Tug smiles at the other Arrows as they limp raggedly into the meeting, then carefully observes the buildings that Animus points out. The big guy nods at West solemnly, trying to dampen his own enthusiasm. This is just like Leverage, he thinks excitedly, let's go steal us some soulstones. "Sure thing, boss." He surveys his troops, radiating confidence. Getting a look about the place and finding out if someone at City Hall has an unhealthy architectural collection ought to be easy for he or Animus. Two outside to stand guard, two inside. "Piece of cake, guys," he assures them.
The Adept's ears perk up at the mention of Aurum. She wore entirely too much...uh, everything, but especially metal, for his taste, but as a Necromancer, she might fill the void in Bad Company that Ash left behind. If she was on board for this, she might be interested in joining.
