Seasons shift, celebrations come and go but always each year the Christmas period represented biggest shift of them all, weather, holidays and public mood all changeling to seemingly reflect the moment. A important time to keep alert for anything that could be a miss, or seekign to make use of such shifts.


And where better to quietly observe then from the middle of it all, not that it had ever actually helped him find anything before. And so Chambers dressed in a heavy grey coat, knitted bobble hat and thick leather gloves is people watching as he slowly strolls through the area waiting for the show to begin with the lighting of the tree.

Having no more have had the time than to open her eyes purple eyes, rush to get into the carefully laid out attire paired with sturdy boots and laced leather pants. All focused on being quick or at least relatively quick to get on, knowing she would have far to little time get ready after the infernal star sol would set.

False life flushing through her veins as she rushes into the area, dodging the crowd as best as she could. Stopping up, and bending forward with deep breaths through purple lips hands placed on her heart, making sure to let her hair fall down to cover her face to aid in hiding the look on her face that she was not really feeling the exhaustion in the physical sense others would possibly expect.

Taking a deep breath and throwing her hair back, adjusting it and looking around to see if she had missed the start of the performances not really having paid much attention to those around her beyond not bumping into anyone.

Not much after the crush of the crowd having brought his own meandering to a halt then a woman comes dodging past nearly colliding but managing avoid the outcome with by luck or grace he was unsure. "Excuse me." A light touch of indignation, mixed with curiosity to his tone, who after all rushes through a packed crowd it could very easily cause an accident. Unless you had very good reason. Hence the curiosity. Call it benefit of the doubt.

Although as she stops and catches her breath a proper look at the stranger catches him rather off guard, beautiful didn't do her justice, and it takes a few seconds to find his voice again. "Are you alright?" If she does have a reason, running from danger or some such it would be best to find out. And yet those for the moment remain about all the words he can seem to find.

Deeply inhaling, with a rapid exhale as she turns to the man, purple eyes rapidly scanning him over. Not someone she could recognize beyond a touch of nostalgic sense from his choice of fashion, nor sensing any immediate danger from.
"Did I miss anything? Has it begun yet?" Looking towards the tree and seeing that at least it had not been lit yet, still not knowing anything of the performance and how could she feel like it would be a complete night without getting to see both the performance leading up to it along with the lighting?

Eyes drawn back to the man, a bit calmer now as she instinctively starts to touch against her wedding ring with a slight motion of the hand, glad that she had remembered to put out that piece of armor along with her clothes for the evening.

The sheer vibrancy of the purple eyes is staggering, not a colour he had ever seen a person have before, he did have to wonder if they might be contact lens of some description, those things came in all manner of patterns and colours these days. Recovering himself to the moment he answers the question put him. "No not yet." Tone a little more clipped. Was that all she was rushing for? If so then yes beautiful as she might be it did not merit as an excuse for bad manners.

The tone one she was not all to accustomed to, yet not to unwelcome better such a thing than falseness not that she was certain what might be the cause.
Now that is a relief, feared I would miss it again. Once was bad enough.

Turning her eyes towards the tree with a softness to her voice whilst watching it.
Did you know that Christmas used to be outlawed in this country, with a fine being issued to anyone caught celebrating it of 55$ in todays value, or if we take average earnings increase into account slightly above twice that. Granted it was not for a long period of time, but still a part of the country's history.

Miss it again. Well that was clear enough in some year previous she had, still the rushing could have stopped once she reached the crowd. Maybe it was how entitled the action felt that was gelling the wrong way with him? Nearly unbelievably good look but rather inconsiderate. "I did not know that." And honestly found it hard to believe. "You seem rather intent on celebrating it this year." Why he was still digging, looking for something he was himself entirely sure.
