    Continued from Hedge Patrol X...



    Mina and Kray's voices trail off, distance separating the Lost as the Huntersheart follows the hoberflies. Who continue to beckon the Solstice Courtier to follow, the glimmering sparkle of pixie dust floating gently around the fluttering mass.

    Which seems to have confused his nose, as he can only smell glitter.


    Can you please list current equipment, and current stats, as they will carry over from Hedge Patrol X, there is no refresh happening, as well as currently active Contracts.

    I would also like a straight Stamina roll, and a current Willpower roll

    Once per scene, the player may spend one Glamour to surround the Flamesiren with a blazing flame-like aura. Anyone looking at the Flamesiren must make a successful Resolve + Composure roll or suffer a two-dice penalty to all actions until the character decides to douse the aura or the scene ends, thanks to the distraction.

    Hunterheart Flamesiren

    Vincent decides it is time to shit or get off the pot, and against his better judgement decides to follow the hoberflies. Not sure if Mina is following or not he keeps his eyes and nose on those he is following. The scent of glitter has him curious as to what they are up to.

    Vincent continues to follow the hobserflies, the path around him blends into smears of green and brown. He doesn't know where he is. But he knows he needs to keep following the hobs. The pixie dust glimmers and sparkles in the light, shimmering in his favourite colour.

    His legs start to hurt, but it's a good hurt. Reminding him of a long day hunting, tracking...he breathes in, the glitter scent should make him sneeze but it doesn't. He thinks he should be winded, but he isn't.

    In front of him the hobs let out a bell like laugh, and continue to beckon him forward with a grin.



    I'd like a Perception at a -2 (remember Clarity!)

    With the dust and the hoberflies leading the way he followed. Not sure how long he has been walking he knows he hurts, but it is a good burn. Been a long time since I have been on a hike like this. Wonder how long I have been walking. It must not be that long, or else I would be winded. Either way he continues to follow the hoberflies.

    Everything feels fuzzy to Vincent, the smeared water coloured landscape rushing passed him with the pixie dust falling over him, and the bell-like laughs of the hoberflies a beacon that beckons until -

    He doesn't so much as slow as he comes to a dead stop. Tripping over his feet, he feels the ache of overworked muscles, his beaths come out in huffs and puffs, he can taste something metallic, irony in his mouth - blood? Like he'd been running and running and running - something had torn, was there blood in his lungs...?

    This wasn't a good burn. This wasn't -

    Inches from where his feet had stop was a yawning pit. Deep and dark, he didn't think he could see the bottom.

    The hobberflies turn to him, some who's faces puff up and blow raspberries at him, others who boo him and other still who now glow a Tinkerbell red of full bodied rage.


    To be clear Vincent has taken no damage, he's just feeling general exhaustion from a far too intense work out

    "Whoa, that was too close." Vincent states as he stares at the little buggers. "So were you just going to try to kill me. Is that what you wanted to show me." Vincent was a bit upset before the feeling what truly happened really hit him. putting his fingers in his mouth at the taste of blood, as well as the strenuous feeling of his lungs had him a bit concerned. Was he running all this time and not realizing it.

    The hoberflies response to him breaking the trance just further angers him. "Yeah well.." Vincent blows a raspberry back to them, "to you too!!!"

    Vincent takes several steps away from the pit and the hobs, before putting down his pack. He grabs his water canteen off the bag and takes a swig before swishing and spitting hoping to get the taste of blood out of his mouth. He then takes another swig and swallows it down.

    Now where am I? He thinks as he takes in his surroundings.

    If I want to get out the hammock and try to use it as a net to capture the hoberflies what would be the roll? Just wanting to make sure I take note of any penalties.

    Taking his steps away from the pit, he takes the time to look around and realizes that he has no idea where he is and from what he can glimpse of the sky, and the colour cast over the area, night was falling.

    The hoberflies blow another round of raspberries in response to Vincent's own.


    Hmm, since a hammock is a little unwieldy you could roll Dex + Athletics -2

    Vincent Black feels the effects of glamour as he engulfs his body in flames causing his visible tattoos to flare up brightly as well. After doing so, he grabs his hammock out of his bag but does nothing yet. He figures he could try to talk to these creatures first. Turning to face the hoberflies Vincent Black says, "Okay, okay I was a little mad. But you guys have had your fun. How about we have a little chat about why you brought me here, or you can just point me back to where we came. It is getting dark, so I do not have much time to spare."
