It was finally here, finally at long last, as she had awaited this day, how she had mentioned it to nearly everyone who would listen and now it was finally time. The ballet at long last premiered The Nutcracker for the season. Granted it was not the grandest of dancers, and the performance was a tad below what she was accustomed to but the allure, the magic, the nostalgia, the sensation to witness the dancers on stage along with the music, this, this was her Christmas magic, what truly brought the season alive for her, for what was better than this? Each note, each moment despite its fault had been a true blessing, and she was certain to return tomorrow, and the day after for each of their performances, maybe not wearing as proper of a dress as this night, having to hide her tattoos to this extent with as little protection of clothes as it offered was bad enough for the premiere each night.
Now though it was time for the one part of the performance she did not enjoy, the interlude, that dreaded time where she had to walk out and be around the other attendants. Touching her brooch with a soft inhale as she tries to hide away the best she could from the bigger groups of people at least, sticking as close to the doors opening as she could, wanting nothing more than to get back to her balcony seat and hide away, or better yet for the tale to carry on already. Digging into her purse to grab a protein bar, damn why couldn´t they serve some proper food at these events.
