Taking half a step backward at the words of Fate, no no not to dee...ohh puhh, moving back in with a relaxed look once more.
”Top to bottom, cannot say that I visited every city and village but top to bottom at least, and plenty of cities, woods and other sights to take in.” Looking down to her feet mind already beginning to formulate the right design for a board as she quickly looks back up, cocking her head and shining up. ”Oh oh oh, you and I are gonna get along marvelously, wanna take a wind walk sometime? Just get out and see where we might end up?” This, this was her melody.

Answering Phoenyx nod with a warm smile and back to the others, not wanting to crowd the woman nor surprised she was leaving this crowd.

Looking up at Phillip, arms spreading out to point to the horde of people.
”How could I not, I have an adorable home and surrounded by so many different people of interest. Besides its nice to take a rest from walking every few years.” A quick nod as she cartwheels away, grabbing a cookie and ascertains a path to backflip back only to instantly take up the conversation again as if she hadn´t left. ”Thank you, but if it was just found online do you have any recipes that are more special to you or that you really enjoy making? I have been quite into testing various berry things as of late, even if I am not much of a baker nor chef but some simple things. Like banana cookies with berries is quite nice.” Not to mention the funnily colored bread she had brought. ”Please try some of the bread I brought, I did make sure to make them colored for fun.” Nodding with a light excitement. ”Please let me know how it turned out?” Yes! ”Guns what kind? I have recently started to look into them a bit myself but” raising her right hand palm up ”the usual gun is quite large gripped and not ideal for my below average grip size. I would love some pointers and any insight into them you would like to share, what is it that you like about them for example?” Unable to contain a bit of a smile at the invite. ”Gladly, just send me a text when its good for you and I will gladly come over, just let me know if I should bring anything. As for my interests hmm” taking a nibble of the cookie. ”Well obviously gymnastics, and archery has always been a hobby of mine, nature, skateboarding, and like you so am I trying to expand my horizons. I would love to hear about some of your random researches sometime.”
Tapping her lips for a moment.
”Now that is harder, there is much to say, I can certainly share a sliver of an insight at another date but the most important to keep in mind is that when things happens, when danger arises, when you feel as if your back is against the wall, fearing for your life, and need someone by your side so will we be there. Warriors and strategists, hoping we will not need to utilize our skills but always ready to in order to keep those around us safe.” Her cheery look turning stern and focused for a moment as she searches for proper eye contact to speak in a voice void of her cheerful self. ”Why would I aim for such a thing? We have Phoenyx here, I trust her with my life, and would follow her through the abyss itself and back.” No more letting the words come to an end before going back to her earlier cheerful way with another nibble of the cookie. ”This is really good.”

A look over as their medical master comes over.
”Asclepius how are you? You a soccer player, did not know that. Should we dig out a ball and go play a bit as they work on the grill?” Looking over to Lachesis and Phillip. ”Would you like to join in?” Actively avoiding the words of trivial pursuit, nothing against losing but that was just not her game. ”You know games are excellent training, soccer builds teamwork and stamina, kubb builds precision and usually aids with bonds, they can all be great.” A look of pride at his answers to the curious man.

Eyes turning to Corn with a look of disgust in her eyes, knowing she was not the one addressed but still speaking up.
”That is not an arrow.” Another stupid man that tries to join our ranks with no understanding of us, sigh. Waving her old friend off. ”Bring him one of Phillips cookies.”

Looking over to the new arrival with a warm smile.
”Hi welcome, I am Talon Skye and you are?” Stretching out her right hand palm up with a kind smile on her lips. ”I can take those for you if you´d like? If you have not yet gone through the initiation process so do we have plenty of people here to aid in that and if you have kindly allow me to be amongst the first to welcome you to the circle, else welcome to Sacramento I hope we will get along well.”

[Lachesis]

The Acanthus waved as Phoenyx heads off towards the grill. They definitely do take it seriously, and this one was no exception, it seemed.

She takes the hand offered by Asclepius and gives it a light shake, “Nice to meet you, I’ll be sure to keep you on speed dial, Doc.” she jokes with the shaman. She didn’t anticipate that she’d need his services either, but like Phoenyx had mentioned earlier, better to have it and not need it. Quite a few Arrows in town though, it seemed.

“Maybe not,” she replies to Corn, “But unless you know a wiki page or something for the awakened that I don’t, I think we’d be hard pressed to get a copy of the rules.”

Then to Skye, “A wind walk, huh? Heck yeah, you just let me know when.”

Slowly watching the crowd number dwindle down to a smaller size as people separate, Noticing Corn leave he gives a wave off and watches him go. He turns to address Philip but with the newcomer's arrival he saves his words for when they come back. “I guess we will see you two in a minute.” He can't help but think of Joyeuse that sits alone in the courtyard currently while most if not all present are talking to someone. Well apart from winter who is standing there either lost in thought or having a flashback.

Addressing Skye's questions first. “I am good thank you, yea I used to play when I was younger, it was the only game on the playground really. Your right we should for a bit of fun with a kick around.” He was probably a bit rusty but who really cares in this setting, I doubt a lot of them have even played it.

Looking to Lachesis who shakes his and lightly, he smiles at her greeting. “Please do, tho' I pray you don't need my services. However I will do my best to be their should you indeed need them, my number is on the corkboard for people to grab. If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up in a town like this?” He nods as he listens to her.

Waving Phillip off as he headed away, a bit saddened that their conversation had been forced to come to such a rapid ending but hoping he would make good on his words to give her an invite later on.

Then back to Lachesis.
”Happily, I do want to warn you in advance that I have a bad habit of not knowing when to stop. When it comes to walking and just following the winds so could I go on for days.” Her words of having walked the nation should attest to that though. ”My work number is on the corkboard we have here, its only meant for those of us here and I always keep it on me, how do you prefer to get contacted?” A look over towards the grilling area. ”Seems like its getting close for me to start gathering the prizes I brought and hand them out.”

Noticing something going on in the mind of her fellow arrow or perhaps it was just the many people around, this was his first informal gathering here after all and the country still new to him.
”How are you feeling?” A light look of concerned warmth hidden within her eyes. ”Alright then, I wonder if there might be one around here somewhere, would be a fun way to buildup some appetite and who knows maybe it could drag some people into joining as well, I love a chance to get to move and run around. Do need to go deal with the prizes first though.” Turning her eyes back over to Lachesis with an inviting kind look upon her. ”Do you play?”

[Lachesis]

"Oh, well, I walked." she replied to Asclepius in a deadpan tone. "Okay, I guess there were a couple buses involved too." she chuckled to herself. "Really, I just decided it was time for a trip. I left Washington and just started going. Now here I am." To a sleeper, such a thing might sound crazy. A young girl wandering the countryside alone. Something in her soul told her it was what she needed to do, but she didn't exactly know how to explain that to her new friends here.

"Sounds like we've got that in common then." she smiles at Skye, "But you've definitely gone a lot farther than I have. And mobile is fine, I'll get my number on that corkboard that everyone keeps talking about.. eventually."

"I used to do track in school, so I could probably kick a ball around." She hadn't really played before, it wasn't that big back home in her little town.

[Asclepius]

Realising the he was drifting off from the conversation in his head at Skye's question. “Warm... but I am fine, I was just thinking about others nothing serious.” The silent appreciation from him conveyed with a thumbs up and a clenched fist waiting for a fist bump. “Well why don't you sort the prizes first, to get them sorted, and then we can worry about moving around.”

A clear impressed look on his face for Lachesis' response. “Wow I'm impressed, even if there was buses involved. It is still a commendable feat. Should I assume you are talking about the capital or is there another town called Washington? Do you have any favourite sights on your travels? Any fun experiences you would like to share?” Listening to her comment that her and Skye have something in common he could not help but chime in. “I would be surprised if you didn't judging by what you have said, you sound like a free spirit just like this one here.” He nods to Skye with a smile on his face, honestly unsure if Skye agrees with the statement.

[Skye]

Looking upon the young woman completely unphased really, to her that sounded completely logical.
”I arrived in this city twice by walking here, just waiting until I saw the sign I should see to know where to stop. Be it seeing three squirrels passing a road as a woman sang or when children jumped on a trampoline singing a specific song. Its just how things are sometimes, nothing strange at all, besides wanderlust is good, nothing better than a walk for a few weeks or months. I have personally always wanted to do like Crocodile Dundee and go on a walkabout in Australia.” Not her part of the conversation but she grasped the desire for it very well. ”You have the time, I barely left my state until I was 18. I meant call or text though, some people prefer one over the other.”

Shining up for a moment.
”Track? Now that is fun, do you still do any sports? Or well I am sorry kinda need to run.”

A light nod to her fellow arrow with a warm look upon her.
”Always, and I do believe I have to do that, please try some of my bread if you get the chance.” A look over to Lachesis. ”You to, mine is the odd one in different colors.”

Running off to the grill.

[Lachesis]

"Oh." She chuckled, realizing Ascplepius' confusion. "Sorry, I meant Washington state. That's a much shorter trip than you were thinking. But I'd have to say the wilderness in southern Oregon was probably my favorite. A lot of really beautiful lakes, and forests."

"Not really, just a lot of walking." She answered, before Skye took off. She shot a quick look to the only other Mage left with her and shrugged.

[Asclepius]

Looking to Skye, her mentioning of Crocodile Dundee peaked his interest. “Ooo I would love to head down under, always wanted to go see what it is like over there. I would definitely need a survival expert tho, I hear the wildlife is incredibly deadly.” His hands up at shoulder height palms facing her. “Alright I will, I will... consider it already eaten.” He lets out a chuckle as she runs off.

He continues to watch Skye make her leave as he speaks, his words clearly for Lachesis but his head not turning to her. “Sometimes I envy the amount of energy she has, and her positivity.” Once out of view he turns to face Lachesis as she is the only person left with him. “Ahh forgive me I'm not fully verse on all of the states, or most of them for that matter. I am assuming Oregon is above California somewhere correct? If so it sounds lovely, might be an idea for a holiday for myself.” Hating the idea of dead air between to people stood together he scrambles for a topic to talk about in his mind. “If you don't mind me asking do you have any interesting hobbies that you partake in? Or anything that you have a good interest in that you have been stuck into recently? Personally my job has me run around a bit but for the most part I have been trying to get myself back into fitness in my spare time.” He offered an answer to his own question, if nothing else but to put her at ease should she feel awkward.

He notices he shrug given to him in regards to Skye leaving. “Don't worry she will be back as fast as she leaves.”
