The relatively new face in the pinstripe suit and the fedora wandered into Court once again. Aiko had been busy since her first appearance, taking the time to establish a place to live in a less-populated part of town, but within feeding range of transients and drunks. This time, the Beast shouldn't be so difficult to control, now that Aiko was entering Court on a fuller stomach. The strange mix of anger and bloodlust upon gazing on those welps weaker than herself, intertwined with the far more palpable fear at being in the presence of those far, far stronger... it sends Aiko's muscles into tense knots as she tries to lock herself into some semblance of poise. The experience may be easier than the last time, but she still has to stand still in the doorway for a few moments to compose herself.
Scanning the room, Aiko picks out individual faces. Who was familiar... who was unfamiliar, but talking to someone familiar? One Court would not be enough to learn the intricacies of the domain, of course. Two likely wouldn't suffice either. It helped to pay attention to who was talking to whom.
First thing first: Aiko moves close enough to the Prince to press her hat to her chest, bow deeply, and pay her respects... but not close enough to interrupt the Prince or her entourage. Aiko offers a similar - but shallower - bow to Jennifer as the Priscus makes her way over to Antinori, but again doesn't interfere. It takes her a moment longer, but she spots Priscus Jack's face among the crowd and offers the same.
But baring an indication that any of those of greater station actually wish to speak with her... Aiko saves her first spoken word for Helen.
"You're looking quite well this evening, Ms. Kingsley. I hope this observation proves to be true to life as well?"
