Seeing the hobgoblin's sudden aggression, Matthew doesn't waste time. He instantly changes into a giant wolf and leaps at the creature, massive jaws tearing large chunks out of its flesh.

"Alright, plans B and C it is, then," Derek mutters beneath his breath.

Derek's plans are as follows:
If the creature attacks him and isn't fended off first by the others, he will Dodge, which puts him at Defense 7 due to Dancer kith bonus (+1 Dodge).
If he isn't attacked directly and the creature is still on its feet when it gets around to Derek's turn, he plans to step back away from the combat, falling behind his more martial companions, and use Mask of Superiority (Vainglory 1) to try to trick the creature into thinking he is whatever sort of mighty figure passes for a celebrity among Hedge critters, pretending he has simply put on a ruse of being a mild-mannered changeling but is now showing his "true" colors in response to the hob's rudeness.

The air stilled in the room around the three men and the hobgoblin as he rushed forward towards Darek. O-Yamma and Mathew both charged at the beast as Darek takes a few tentative steps backwards away from the snarling beast..

O-Yamma is in the process of pulling his sword and is half way there and half way across the room when all of the sudden he finds himself back where he was taken from (There is a slight delay so in your sticky thread you will be running and pulling your sword for approximately one second before realizing you are no longer in the room. Frost has said she will narrate this part.)

Mathew is in mid shape shift and lunging at the beast with his mouth wide open teeth bared when he finds himself back where he was taken from (you may do a mood post about your reaction to all of the sudden jumping through the air shapshifting being that you are not in a sticky that was taking place at the time you were taken no posts in threads are required for you.)

Darek is stepping backwards when he suddenly finds himself back in familiar surroundings still stepping backwards until he regains his bearings (again same thing as Mathew.)

The hobgoblin is in mid swing towards Darek's head when he is sent back to where he came from.


Everyone is poofed out of the room at the same exact moment all of this takes less than two seconds to occur.
