While O-Yama ducks to get into the car, Meghan decides she's had enough of the subterfuge and knocks him the fuck out with a baseball bat and shoves him in the Miata's trunk.
Greg tightens his grip on Dirge's arm and begins pulling her towards his truck (Dirge is Grappled).
That's 48 hours without a response from either of you...

Max slips the door open to see the back of some long haired hippie jumping in front of a window.
"No... girl... no... don't do it... DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!! She split that bitch's wig. Oh, damn. Daaaaaamn."

Dirge stood still trying to listen for O-yama when she realized he actually went with the other woman. She was floored that he would do such a thing. Was he deaf or just thick when she practically came out and told him it was a trap and she needed to talk to him. Concerned with her fellow haunt she didn't realize the cultist's tactics had changed from subtlety to force as he grabbed her arm and started pulling her away.
Fury rose up with in her as this mere mortal felt that he could do such a thing to her. Concentrating her blood she drew on its power strengthening her limbs. "You'd better let go before I gut you like a fish."

*Max sighs mentally as it sounds like the sting has turned into a cage match. He could only hope Dirge was holding her own against whoever was attacking her. He slips up behind the man, blood surging through his veins as he tries to turn the man into a fleshy Muppet...*

Greg stops; there's an awkward silence that follows when someone says something totally unexpected.
"Geez... ok... what the hell...," he finally says, releasing Dirge's wrist. "Crazy bitch." He'd just been helping her, hadn't he?

Upstairs, the young man turns just in time to see Max, but the Mekhet still clips him (1B after DEF subtracted). "Who... wha... ?!" He retaliates with a fierce scowl, but the only thing Beach Body has is his phone, which he swings ineffectually with.

Another purple knot appears on a cheek as Max connects again, and again the phone is swung wildly. There's a reason Clue doesn't include a cell phone as a murder weapon. Max does notice a slightly wild look coming into his prey's eyes, and those same eyes flicking past him to the door.

Dirge was a little surprised by the man's reaction and compliance. "I don't appreciate being manhandled and touched unexpectedly is all. Where exactly were you taking me?"

"The Circle," Greg replied. To Dirge's ears, there was a hint of unease, perhaps fear, perhaps something else. "To meet the other Children."
There's a pause.
"Your friend's already left with Meghan."
The tone is a bit firmer, a bit more sure, as if he's realized that she might find it easier to go along than navigate her way home alone.
