O-Yama steps forward to stand nearer to the Prince and Ishani. He sees Clarke as his liege, and as his superior he was to be protected. He nods to him, hoping he would have a chance to speak with him before this ended and he was thrown back into his body in the facility where he was imprisoned. When he hears talk of Brood, and then sees the marking on the man, Olaf, he keeps his hand on the handle of his katana, ready to kill at a moments notice.

The Nordic man glances sidewise every now and then, noting as more and more move close to him, but says nothing more, looking mostly at Ishani and Asa.

Asa feels uneasy as more unfamiliar faces appear, but mixed with the familiar... or at least, recognizable. The fact that Ishani didn't react let him know that they were known... just... different. The enormous black man could only be the Reeve -- or someone with a very, very big opinion of themselves.
The appearance of O-Yama flooded his mind with questions, but this moment of tension they all stood in demanded an answer. Asa evaluated, sorted, and discarded options rapidly, as he considered what might happen in this place if Blood were shed. This could all end in a moment, as well, and he would have squandered an opportunity to learn what had happened to O-Yama.
"Keep your eye on this one," he said, looking towards Konstantin, and then addressing the others, "There are more important concerns."
It was not a decision he was happy with, and one that might ultimately prove a terrible mistake, but in a place that showed one's true self...
Asa looked at O-Yama with a nod. "It's good to see you again... what can you tell us to make it a more permanent arrangement?"

Narration:
Suddenly, those still using Auspex can see the and feel the strange presence they've been noticing change... becomng less diffuse. They see wisps of something coalesce into almost humanoid forms.
Obsidian, attuned as she is to ghosts, experiences this shift somewhat differently. She, too, sees some of the ghostly presence coalesce into more distinct forms. Some of them she can make out fairly clearly... men, women, even a child, a young girl, though none is familiar to her. At the same time though, she can tell these spectres are still more mixed than distinct. She sees them shift form, or show traits of different forms.
Those without Auspex or Ghede's Eye simply feel a discomfort, like a cold breeze blowing through their souls.

Wilhelm's hands drop to the hilts of his blades as he turns in a slow circle, his eyes darting between the spectral humanoid forms appearing around him. "Reeve Culler, the sensation from before, can you see the change?"
|
|
|
|
|

Arnold glances around, aware of the presence of the ethereal people. He replies to Wilhelm "Yes. They take the shape of men but are made of nothing but mist and shadow. I don't know what's happening."
