"Well in the mortals terms yes, its too bad you are not rich. In our terms then just give me a call and we can arrange a meeting. I am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement."

Wyatt smiles. He was not expecting something like that to come up on the first night. Still, the mortals had very little to offer. There promises were even short lived. Hell could you even hold them to there promises.

"A Business assosiation may be possible. However we would need to discuss the particulars."

Wyatt had no idea what Amos could be thinking. It could be something to do with slautering puppies as far as he knew. However you do not make friends by denying opportunitys such as this one.
The ventrue seemed opened to the opportunity of a business association, which was good. Plus they were both carthian, even if Wyatt was not aware of Amos affiliation yet. This could come at a later time. He was about to respond, when the prince came in and was about to make an important annoucement.

" Right I'll give you a call then. Hum, looks like the prince is going to make an annoucement."

Amos listened carefully to the prince's words. He was happy at the reinstatment of the fallen covenants, though he was not familiar with the vampire who won the venery prize. He may have seen him at the venery gathering before the hunt, but he was not sure of it. He politely applaudes the winner of the venery contest than listen to the rest of the prince's annoucement then turns back to Wyatt.

" The first part is good news, there will be a lot of happy vampire, I mean those of the fallen covenants. It looks like I will have a full choice of covenant to enlist to. As for the creation of other feeding domains, well, that's interesting ... very interesting."

His not-so-full belly was growling at the evocation of the idea, he hadn't had a proper meal for a while, execpt maybe the few drunken slob and students he fed on recently, as well as this woman in the lily. Time to win some favors and fill his vampiric stomach.

While he was having conversation with Wyatt, Amos notices dwight approaching them. He smiles at the former jester of the court and salutes him in a relaxad manner.

" Buenas Noches Senor Dwight, Como estas tonight ? Have you heard the annoucement ? The fallen covenants are reinstated again. That will make a lot of kindred happy I guess. Also what do you think about the new tenurial domains ? I guess the tenants will be flooded with demands and that they will be heavily courted by other kindred .... all in the name of the danse macabre I presume.

So how are things for you tonight Senor Dwight ? "

He was curious to know what would be the reaction of Dwight to the prince annoucemement. He was not sure he was part of one of the fallen covenants and there were so many independants that there has to be some of them be members of one the said fallen covenants.

Dwight stood quietly as the Prince made his pair of announcements, the one bringing him joy and the other creeping fear into the back of his mind.
The re-instatement of the covenants was a completely surprise, Dwight assumed the self serving nature of the normal vampire would have had only one of the covenant’s restored, but it seemed that someone was more benevolent then he might have been in the same circumstances.

The news about greater restrictions on feeding though, that was a nightmare made flesh. Even further restrictions would mean that feeding was going to become increasingly difficult if a deal was not cut with one of the regents and Dwight had little contact or knowledge of any of them. If there was a friendly face amongst them, he wouldn’t have a clue and they would be flooded with requests by the end of court. Hard to distinguish oneself in the mob.

Amos’s questions were a good distraction from the worried thoughts, “I guess I can openly state that I am an Acolyte now. It is of some relief, though the spirit of my beliefs makes me wish that one of my brother’s hands was somehow involved in the restoration of our name. Well easy go, easy come I guess I should say.”

“As for the feeding, I agree that It is likely that there will be a few lean months ahead until I can prove my usefulness to one of the regents. Tonight will most likely be too busy for someone of little standing to get a word in edgewise.”

O-Yama moves to stand near to Culler, not close, but near enough that once everything is settled and the other kindred are seated, he could move to his position when called for. He was anxious to get things underway but a part of him was hesitant. He was ready to state his case, it was up to the Prince whether he was regarded as right, or if he would fall to a social mishap worst than his past.

    Heathcliff

Heathcliff is outraged when he sees O-Yama take the position opposite Arnold. This whole spectacle, then, is a result of the most prominent Haunts in the Domain unable to handle a squabble internally? Whatever is going on here obviously should be kept within the Clan. Instantly, by taking whatever their argument is publically, they have splintered the image of a united Nosferatu within Sacramento. Neither deserves to be Priscus after this, in his opinion. He keeps his composure, for now. When Arnoud takes seat next to him, Heathcliff smiles and says quietly, "Congratulations, Regent Giessen. It is good to see you again, it has been far too long." He tries to communicate the possibility of a meeting between the two with a quickly raised eyebrow, as discreetly as possible, for both Kindred value the secretive nature of their association.

    Mac

Mac shrugs at Max and goes to take his seat, nodding his approval of the decor. It isn't lost on him that one of those staked is...was, rather...a Deputy of the Domain.

Wilhelm made his way over to the seating area with the rest of the Kindred he had been conversing with, puasing at a spot where he could make it to the chair that had been set aside for him in short order. And keeping a careful eye on proceedings. When the proper time came he was prepared to politely excuse himself and take his seat, he certainly did not want to hold up the proceedings.

"I made a good impression on my predecessor soon after arriving in the city. When Hound, then Harpy, Naetesh felt it best to step down as Priscus to allow her more time to attend to her other duties she chose me to fill the position. Primogen, and now Regent, Nagaraj supported the move as well and I have never had the position challenged."

"The evening's entertainment should certainly be...interesting. Someone seems to have a taste for the dramatics," could there be any doubt he was referring to the statue, "And someone a sense of humor," that had to be referring to the outfits the two Nosferatu were wearing, "But there is no mistaking the gravity of this situation. A public trial like this has not yet occurred during my stay here, and as far as I know it is the first held under Prince Clarke's reign. It will undoubtedly be momentous. And it will likely provide...opportunity, one way or another." And though he did not come out and say it, providing opportunity at a Vampire Court was roughly the equivalent of throwing a chunk of beef into piranha-infested waters...except infinitely more treacherous.

Asa looked at each of his sisters as people found their seats, to see if either had heard or seen anything of importance before they began. As the seats filled, he prepared to begin the evening, until only two men remained, oblivious.

    Neonates.

"Mr. Crown, Mr. Rodriguez... please tell me that the both of you are discussing last minute details of a surprise opening performance to entertain us all. Otherwise, I can't imagine that your conversation is so important that you would keep us all waiting on your pleasures. Especially given the announcement I just gave regarding the new Regents," Asa spoke, in a friendly, appraising tone.

Amos was so taken by the conversations he was having that he somehow missed the fact that everybody was sitting. Better make amendements fast. Fortunately, the prince did not seem to take ombrage of this fact ... probably as long as both he and dwigth make it quick to end their conversation and go sit to where they are supposed to be sitting.

" Oups ! I am truly sorry your majesty. I'll be quiet now."

He makes the apology a quick one to avoid wasting further time for the congregation and the authorities. After rapidly bowing before the prince in a gesture of submission and apology, he hastily goes to sit to where he's supposed to, mimicking the gesture of someone zipping his mouth shut, locking it and putting away the key in his pocket.

He won't be interrupting the proceeding any further and will stay quiet ... unless ordered otherwise.

    I'll assume Dwight sits also.
Protip: If he mouths off to Asa the way he did to the group by the door, we'll be retcon'ing :P

Asa looked at the two Haunts; one, whom he'd met at the Court when he'd presented himself for Acknowledgment. His eyes flickered to Erika Brady, then Conner Greyson, before returning to O-Yama.

At least that fool Marius is well and truly gone.

He remembered the frustration of the evening with Ishani, rather than the Sheriff, constantly interrupted by the garrulous Cyclops. Another Court, where O-yama had threatened another Kindred in front of said Sheriff. A dingy hotel room, with a deadly Mandragora, a kitten, and an overzealous samurai.

Next he studied Arnold, the giant Haunt who'd barged into Icarus' apartment. Intense, driven; most importantly, always loyal and trustworthy.

Asa chose to skip any explanation, simply gesturing to O-Yama.

    "Mr. Hatori, you may begin."

O-Yama nods to Prince Clarke, bowing shortly to him and then turning and dipping a very shallow bow to Culler. He closes his eyes for a moment, gathering his thoughts on how best to begin and once satisfied, he speaks loudly and clearly, his voice carrying to all present in the room.

"My brethren, I have called for this Court so that the question of Reeve Culler's performance and behavior in his position as Reeve of Prince Clarke's Domain of Sacramento. His lack of initiative in performing the duties given to him by our Prince. I do not question his loyalty to the domain, as I can say my friend has always been loyal to the crown, it is his lazy behavior that I put forth for inspection, an affront to not only Clarke, but to the safety and security of all who would call this domain their home." O-Yama takes a moment, letting the severity sink in.

He continues. "This lack of initiative has allowed threats to our very existence, our immortality, to fester and grow. Horizon, only recently destroyed, was allowed to carry on its work after laying low so many of our people," He says, remembering the Lost Nights vividly, the pain, the fire in his very blood, knowing that those who had survived it would remember it as well. "I stand as proof of this lack of action. I was freed not by the work of Reeve Culler, but by a kine who double crossed the organization for the promise of embrace, Mr. Paulson, now of the Mekhet. True, Horizon as brought to heel, taken down and destroyed, but who led the assault, who commanded the operation? Priscus von Schusten. Not only did Reeve Culler not make no move to lead the attack against one of our domain's most dangerous foes, he made no effort to even contribute to the plans that were made to bring the facility down. Any who were there at the meeting can attest to the truth of my words." He lets the weight of his damnation sink in, pausing before continuing. "Not only did he make no effort participate in the assault as anything more than a man carrying an axe, before my escape with the assistance of Mr. Saul Paulson, a meeting had been held to plan the assault. I have it on good word that he similarly showed no entuisiam to participate. When the meeting was arranged with Mr. Paulson, Reeve Culler did not attend, nor showed any want to. If I am lying, and any who were there would deny the truth of these words I submit myself to punishment." O-Yama says with a short bow to the Prince, fully willing to recieve any punishment should his words ring false. He lets his pause linger for a moment for any who would claim denial to make their words known.

"Lack of enthuisiasm, initiative, and action has allowed the wounds to rot. The homeless run rampant on their self-proclaimed holy crusade against our kind. Wielding fire, the anethema of us, they attempt to bring down those of us they catch with fangs bared. We can be careful, we can hide, but how long before someone takes heed and listens to the vagrants and the entire city is up in arms? This neglect has gone too far and puts all of us in danger." He continues, moving to another subject.

"The Brood, Oni worshipping bringers of destruction and diablerie," He says, remembering his own past, but pushes the thoughts aside quickly. "those who would devour our very soul, move through our streets. They come at us, attack as if we our no true threat, commanding serpentlike ghouls. The Reeve makes no effort to form a united front to hunt them down, even after having himself outed, infront of more than a few of our people, that the woman he had been bedding was working for them. I myself was assaulted by a brood agent and one of his ghouls on the night of the Venery. If any do not believe me, or think I speak false I freely submit to having my mind searched for the veracity of my claim."

"My fellow kindred, we cannot allow this neglectful behavior persist, for the safety of our very immortality." O-Yama finishes, allowing the evidence to speak for itself.
