"Certainly," Heathcliff nods, removing a sheet from the clipboard and handing Max an unused pen from the fresh box in his drawer. It was very odd that the Deputy would visit the Seneschal for his stationery needs, but who knows where the denial of such a trivial request would lead? "I assume you've already received authorization to post an announcement from the Keeper, Deputy, so carry on," he croaks, excusing the Mekhet from his office.
"Tell me about yourself, Jillian," the Haunt smiles at her once Max has left. The blue hair was interesting. Heathcliff found himself thinking of her as Smurfette. "Where are you from, who is your Sire, your Covenant, what are your plans in our city?"

Thank you... Oh, you two may wish to avoid Granite Park for the foreseeable future... *Max says as he takes the offered items. He nods goodbye to the two Kindred, quickly writing a note on the paper. He uses the pen as a make shift thumb tack, pinning the sheet of paper under the usual announcements. Perhaps the unusual method of attachment would draw their attention. It reads:*
Until further notice, all residence are encouraged to avoid Granite Park due to unknown assailants. Unless you are of a masochistic bent and enjoy vivisection and disembowelment.

"I'm from New York City. I'm not part of a Covenent. My Sire was my brother Jeremy Malloy. What brings me to Sacramento?" Jillian paused for a moment, unsure of how much to say. "I am looking for someone. I heard he was in Sacramento so here I am." Jillian ran a hand through her blue hair.

Amos was still texting on his Iphone when Max comes back into the main room of the avalon court. The young mekhet notices the deputy hanging some sort of notice on the wall. This drew Amos' curiosity and he decides to check it.
Man, unknown assailants ... unknown is never good, especially for a mekhet. Maybe it would be a good idea to ask the deputy more about this. He approaches said deputy nervously.
" Buenas noches Senor. I am sorry to disturb you but I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about this notice. What exactly happened at granite park ?
If you told me, I could pass the message to other kindred. "
He was really curious about this, hopefully the deputy could shed some light as to what exactly happened...

*Max turns, and never one to mince words, raises his shirt.* THIS happened... *There are several circles and semi-circles dotting his torso and abdomen. All carry the sort pink hue of freshly healed flesh, and at first it appears rather comical; as if he had tried to tan himself with those little heat lamps used at fast food restaurants to keep hamburgers warm. Comical, that is, until one realized they looked like the marks made by teeth...*
I was ambushed in the Park. Stunned, over powered, and attacked by some sort of cannibals. I was lucky to escape with what little bit of me I had left... *He conveniently forgets to mention poor Charlie.* Until the park can be cleared out of these... things, everyone is best advised to avoid the area. You might want to pass the word on to anyone you care about, I'm not sure everyone here is smart enough to check the Elysium announcements...

Ok, that's explained a lot. Amos looked at the deputy's wounds on his torso and abdomen. Curious wounds. Then again, he never had to deal with cannibals before.
" I see. Cannibals, people getting staked at court, Covenants banned, disease running around ... The fun never stops around here it seems.
I'll forward the message to every kindred I see ... and that will be willing to listen to me. Hopefully they'll be all ears.

Heathcliff muses over Jillian's answers. Short, to the point, and private, everything you'd expect from a Savage. Easy on the eyes, too, not typical of the Gangrels he had met. "Your brother is your Sire? How very interesting..." Perhaps her life had been in danger and it was her brother's only choice; he can't imagine that he was a Kindred of enough prominence to secure the Right of Creation, if he was still young enough to have a sister. He scribbles something on his pad and looks back up at the blue-haired Kindred. "Well, that all seems to be in order, Jillian. Please familiarize yourself with our Laws," he says, pointing to the list hanging on his wall, "and let me know if you have any questions."
"Thank you sir, and my Priscus?" The Comely Savage asked the toilet voiced Nosferatu.

Asa moved closer to the Deputy and new arrival, silently reading the announcement with enhanced sight and listening to Max.
He briefly wondered where Arnold was, but brushed the thought aside.
Is it that man again? It sounded like multiple assailants, though.
Asa gestured to Max, wishing to speak with him when he was done with the new arrival.
