Asa felt his Beast lunge against the cages of his will, snarling for Blood. His smile slipped away and he let the Mask slip away, baring his predator before the weaker one. The Man wrestled control back, attempting to give the other man the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he was deaf.

A hand reached up and came to firmly rest on Michael's shoulder, wrenching him around to face Asa.

"Maybe you didn't hear me? Go away."

He was smiling again.

Victoria heard the sound of some gutter spawned filth call out nearly interrupting the Viscountess. Victoria glared furiously at the unfortunate creature who just interrupted four of the cities most important kindred. Calling on the power in her blood she strengthened her arms and her hand flew out at the offending creature backhanding the Japanese woman across the face.

"How dare you address your betters worm! You interrupt the Viscountess again and they will be dragging you out of here in a body bag. Worms belong on their belly and I would spend my time slithering away if I were you."

Joseph manages only to grimace as the Prince let's his Beast out. Not a pleasurable experience to say the least. Victoria once again acting out at Court makes him roll his eyes.

We're the god damn Lords. We do not act like fucking children at Court.

Of course he doesn't say it out loud. Not only does he not feel like having to deal with Victoria he also doesn't want to stand out at Court. Joseph goes over a tally of Ventrue he knows of and doesn't recall many.

When Asa makes his comment regarding the Priscus position Arnold looks over at him and catches the meaningful smile on his face.

He laughs at the Prince's joke. He had no intention of giving the position to either of the women, even if Dirge now possessed Circe's farm it still did not qualify her in his mind as being socially capable. Shadow would be a good Priscus, but Arnold honestly did not think she wanted the job.

Arnold looks back to O-Yama. He was beginning to feel as if maybe he had gone a bit too far. Was the position of Clan Organizer really worth alienating a friend?

"And we must remain united." he responds to O-Yama.

When the altercation goes on between Regina and Argent Arnold looks over and frowns. He decides to use this as an excuse to remove himself from an increasingly awkward situation.

He walks over to where Argent sat watching TV. His Beast raged at the equal power of the Daeva's blood, but his face was expressionless as he regarded the other Kindred.

"What was that about?" he asks

Argent straightens himself up as the Reeve approaches. He had no love of 'the man', but he wasn't quite as foolish as people thought; respect the Law.

Besides, sitting up straight gave you a lot more traction if you needed to haul ass suddenly.

"That woman started yelling at me for no reason, maybe to ruin my chances with the pretty red-head, no?" Argent presented His Version.

Peter arrives to the court dressed in rather classic attire, the old penguin suit. Between the formal clothing and his dislike of formal events cutting into his time, the Gangrel street thug turned bookworm did not look like a happy camper. Still, he quietly slipped into court and did his best to lay low and be left alone. A quick glance at his watch might just give the impression to anyone noticing him that after being there roughly 40 seconds, he was already ready to leave.

Wade

The businessman arrives in what -- for him -- is a typical grey suit of silk. He turns off multiple cellphones as he enters, finding a seat in a back corner. The night after tomorrow, he was meeting with Israelis who might have a line on Semtex. Last night's meeting with members of the local group of Russian mafia had gone about as well as expected -- not much achieved, but no one left with holes in them. Which reminded him...

No. Court. Focus on that. Work can wait a night. Court now, work later.

Wilhelm paused, ever so briefly, as he heard the slap echo through the room. That certainly sounded painful, and was unexpected. He turned in time to see the woman in the geisha get-up reeling away from Victoria of all people. Something must have really riled her up for her to take such drastic action...or she had brought one of her toys with her, but that seemed unlikely. Perhaps once the knot of people around her broke up he could ask someone about it.

For now, he drifted over to O-Yama and Shadow, steeling his will against the Beast's useless thrashings and frantic whispers "Greetings Oracle Shadow, Mr. Hatori." He glanced back over to the woman who had been on the receiving end of the slap, "It seems that Court in this Domain is never dull." His eyes sliding ever so briefly to Argent as well, during that last statement.
