Asa's car pulled up to the warehouse, and he got out. Curious to see what the Hound had found, he had been playing with the puzzle of the current problems in Sacramento. A piece here or there, turning to see if it fit.
What's this new piece?
Signaling Olivette to wait for him, he made his way inside.

Unsure as to the matters at hand, Jayant arrives with his mind, and options, open. Seeing the Prince leave his car and make his way inside the warehouse, Jayant passes swiftly and gives Olivette a nod.
He then follows suit and enters, waiting to be acknowledged before addressing the Prince.

"Good evening, Primogen Nagaraj," Asa greets the Mekhet with a smile. "We're going to take a meeting, and then I wanted to speak to you about a... project."

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Jayant gives the Prince a respectful bow as he is addressed before speaking. He tries his hardest not to raise an eyebrow, intrigued.
"Good evening, Prince Clarke. As ever, I am entirely at your disposal."

Asa glanced at his watch; there was time, yet.
"Perhaps we'll speak of the project first," he said. "You are Khaibit, yes? Our sewers and lower city were lost during Bethem's predations and then the Lost Nights."
Asa cocked his head to look at the small, dark man.
"I want them back."

Jayant smiled. It was going to be a good night.
"Yes, your majesty, I am Khaibit," he says without concern, quite proud infact.
"I have been to the sewers several times and it would be an honour to return them to your jurisdiction. Do you possess any workable maps of the areas at your disposal?"
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
"I do not, unfortunately," Asa replied. "Public Works, or the City Planner's office might be a good place start."
"...Or Freddrick's old haven."
If it were himself, the first two options would be far and away the preferred ones.

|
|
"Ah, no matter. I'm sure I shall find a way, I used to know someone whom made the sewer's their home, perhaps that would be a good place to start. I'd rather not go rooting through Freddrick's old haven; he may have left some nasty surprises behind."
The thought of the former Prince makes a shiver run down Jayant's dead nervous system. He was even uglier than Sunshine used to be.

"Excellent. The Sacramento Underground is fairly extensive, from what I've read of the floods in the mid 1800s. Freddrick held them, and they've become a problem since we lost control," Asa nodded.
"Once that's done, I can appoint a Regent of the Underground."

|
Konstantin arrives at the warehouse. He wears the jacket the Prince gave him as a Christmas gift over new jeans and sturdy boots.
Konstantin enters and bows to the Prince, then waits to be acknowledged.
