And, maybe, somewhere in this bathroom, there might have been something that Miach would eventually find.

The door creaks open. There's nothing but Honest-To-God total surprise on the faces of the orderly and security guard to find a giant, naked man rummaging about in the middle of the night.

At least it was a crazy guy singing instead of a ghost.

The up side? One of these guys probably knows all about what Miach's after.

The down side? There aren't that many super-tall, good looking doctors with green eyes and flowing golden locks in the city.

Cornered in the bathroom, Miach couldn't think of any way out, and reflexively turned to his Tower's affinity with the Truths of Time to have a second chance in the Lie at controlling this mess he was in. It seemed he got lucky as he was there alone again in the bathroom before the door actually opened. Rushing to it, he grabbed the handle to keep it shut, and leaned on the door with all his weight.

The mystagogue didn't even realize it, but in the next breath, he was invoking yet another time the familiar Imago that reminded the Adept of Life that shapes weren't meaningful, and changed back into a fly. A fly that would escape as quickly as possible the building back to the van where his Cabalmate awaited.

That may be the plan Miach has, but he soon realizes it's really hard to form an Imago while struggling with a door.

The down side? Miach's spell wrenches out of control as Havok ensues.

And the guard is suddenly turned into a eight foot tall fly.

You can't declare multiple simultaneous Instant Actions. He either went to door or he cast Shapechange. Shapechange's what was rolled for. Just because you cast Shifting Sands doesn't mean you get to narrate through multiple Actions and Turns.
