That may be the plan Miach has, but he soon realizes it's really hard to form an Imago while struggling with a door.
The door creaks open. There's nothing but Honest-To-God total surprise on the faces of the orderly and security guard to find a giant, naked man losing control of a spell.
At least it was a crazy guy singing instead of a ghost.
The up side? One of these guys probably knows all about what Miach's after.
"Doctor... "
The down side? Miach's spell wrenches out of control as Havok ensues.
And the guard is suddenly turned into a eight foot tall fly.
You can't declare multiple simultaneous Instant Actions. He either went to door or he cast Shapechange. Shapechange's what was rolled for. Just because you cast Shifting Sands doesn't mean you get to narrate through multiple Actions and Turns.
Additional Paradox for Sleepers rolled.
Havok target randomly selected.
Havok Wisdom check fail; spell reverses. Effect as intended, but enlarges rather than shrinks.
