She had to get out of her apartment because she was beginning to feel boxed in. It was late, well, what some people might consider late, but not for her. Her lack of sleeping through the night had found her often out walking. With her iPod in, she was sometimes surprised to see the sky lightening, telling her how long she had been strolling.
But this night she found herself in a bar, so she ordered herself a pitcher of beer and found a booth with a view of the door. The bar was kind of a hole in the wall place, nothing flashy, just some place to grab a drink. There was some pool tables towards the back as well as a dart board for those wanting to test their skill. The few tv’s had some sporting event on and some guys at the bar were cheering at whatever was going on.
Her iPod went back in as she sat against the wall, knees up in front of her and absently sipped her beer, glancing around every now and then. Her hair was loose and falling around her shoulders, hints of a bright magenta color peeking out, and her leather coat rested on the bench. Beneath it was a black tank top over leather pants.
