Not The One That's So Absurd...

Whoa, thinks Konrad as he appraises Madison's dancing. This girl knows how to work it. Her appealing form is even more so given the sway of hips and twist of her movements.

The thumping vibrations continued to guide their bodies in a rhythmic performance. It's fun, it's refreshing, and even the Beast seems enthralled under its spell. There's something tribal about it, ritualistic even. A wolf in bunny's clothing. But the sensation is fleeting however, as the whole room turns to see Asa Clarke bust out some moves he's never seen before. Konrad can't help but be distracted with cheers going up from the crowd of Kine. So the Prince has an arsenal of moves at his disposal. Jeez, how does a guy hope to compete?

Rather than let himself be bothered by the smooth operator, Konrad focuses back on Madison, reminding himself that he's doing alright tonight and it is not a competition. Though if it were...

"Smog. Ink. Sin. Yes, sin seems to comprise most all of my history." A fond smile and a wistful look passed over her countenance, though it was fleeting as a foxes shadow beneath moonlight. Dark eyes eventually moved away from the past and back upon the strange man presently before her. "Tell me more about the baseball player. How did he break you? And had you suffered many injuries before that? Perhaps at the hands of parents or classmates? Or perhaps they blows delivered with the lips?"

Finn gives an overly dramatic shrug, playing along as Lisa goes along with the joke. "Well, everyone has to be somewhere, right? Besides, Sacramento isn't looking so bad right now..." He answers her laugh with a quick wink; letting her take his hand and begin leading him to the dance floor.

When she stops short and has the same reaction he had to the two dancers that were putting everyone else to shame, he can't help but laugh at her response. "Well, at least we'll be on equal footing. And that's what matters, right; having fun?" To the Emerald Courtier, it certainly was...

As the two carve their own little pocket of space on the dance floor, Finn settles in across from Lisa; leaving enough space between them that the two could feel out each other's motions but close enough that is was clear the two were together. While her motions were out of sync with the bass being pumped through the club's speakers, his were fluid and light. At first he was worried she might get discouraged; but she takes it all in stride.

In truth, she wasn't half bad; it just that half tick off the beat that made her motions seem awkward. He smiles as she jokes it off, raising his voice so she can hear him over the music. "Don't worry, we'll blame it on the drink." Finn gives the woman a playful wink, reaching a hand down and gently placing it on her hip.

"Here, like this..." As the two continue to dance, he doesn't lead so much as guide. Little motions of the fingers, gentle pressure from his palm; all trying to keep their motions in time with each other and the music. He had already forgotten about the Butterfly and Newsboy, and everyone else on the dance floor, really; lost in the moment and the woman in front of him.

As she was enjoying feeling the music move her body, she couldn’t help but notice the butterfly and the guy she saw earlier. Wow, damn, they could dance!

But she was confident in her own moves, while not as impressive as the others, she could still manage to look good doing it. A life performing and being on center stage made her unashamed and comfortable with the way her body moved.

She flashed a wide smile to Konrad, a silent thumbs up for his ability to dance. Lets face it, not many guys could look good dancing, and looking good doing it in a pink bunny suit, well, that took a whole other level of confidence.

Sorry for the delay!

Yeah, Lucy's not going to talk about ballet. She moves away from Terri's curious eyes to finally get her beer at the bar. Then she turns back to her with a grin. 'A personal aerobics trainer?! Well, you may not have the professional moves then, but I bet you would learn them in no time. Maybe Sasha can give us a beginners class sometime!' Oh that would be a great to way to get to know each other in another way.

'Because...' she sees it too, between all the drunkards there is one couple dancing perfectly, 'she has some moves. Amazing.'

Smog? People have weird addictions, but an exhaust suffer? He guesses it's the sin she mentions. "Baseball Player? Oh he just threw a tomato at me, part of the act, except at ninety miles an hour. I couldn't figure out whether it was a fruit or a vegetable before it hit me? You know the answer to that one? I think I was good at baseball myself: my high school coach always said I was 'out standing in the field.'" He wonders what she means by other injuries, about blows with lips. "But, no, I don't think anyones ever hurt me by blowing me a kiss. I can imagine situations, though . . ." He'd been on crutches before--irony since he was playing with them when he hurt himself. That's why he never toyed around with wheelchairs.

"Well, ex-aerobics instructor," Terri corrected whilst thinking about the truth behind Lucy's words. She was certainly coordinated enough; her physical hand-eye dexterity virtually unsurpassed.

Before her pledge with Sal, it had been even better. Now, the Beast was hindered through circumstance, limited for her own survival. Perhaps when this sorry affair with Fairweather was finally over, Terri would be that good again.

"Sounds like a very good idea. Anything to blow off some steam."

She couldn't help but to laugh at the irony of the situation. He couldn't imagine the dangers of a kiss? Oh, how tempted she was to teach him now that he had uttered those words! Yes, even though he was misshapen, and even though is wit was considerably misplaced, in her eyes, though she would acknowledge that he was not lacking in it, there was definitely a desire she held to prey upon him. To give him a taste of the wrath awaiting those without dedication to that which was Good. Yet, of course, that begged one last question.

"Answer me this, Remi, and you may have your dance. Do you go to church? Do you recognize the symbol which I wear upon my fist?" she demanded of him, eyes intent and darkly glittering beneath the club lights.

'Ex-instructor, got it.' Lucy nods while chuckling, realizing it's not the kind of job that becomes your identity like maybe being a doctor would.

And speaking of blowing off steam, the Fireheart starts to move on her place a bit. It's hard to stand still in such an amazing crowd. She's getting swept up by everyone else.

After sipping her beer, she asks: 'So tell me, what do you do now, if not training people?'
