Jennifer has activated the Blush prior to entering the taxi that has delivered her to the Ridge.

As the trio had agreed to meet at the Ridge, Jennifer arrived at the Ridge herself. As she had sent Lord Baldwin a text, she held off on barging inside. If the two were engaged in deception, she did not want to tax it to include herself. She had fallen behind and it would do no good to overburden her coterie more so than she already had. Jennifer surveyed the Ridge, scanning it for any changes. It had been two years since she had met with Priscus Grigoriev in this establishment. A lot could change in two years. Jennifer wore casual clothes as her recollection of the Ridge was that it was not a place to dress for.

She follows Peter out into the night, glad to be out of that office.

Upon seeing Jennifer, a wide smile appears, "Good evening! Glad you are here." she says as her Beast howls for the blood of the weaker Beast in front of her.

"I agree with looking around, and maybe inquiring at the diner ponytail mentioned. Seems our friend frequents a diner and maybe we can figure out his schedule and whatnot."

"Excellent!"

Jennifer states in a normal tone.
"How good to see you."

Jennifer was most pleased that things had continued on in her absence. She had to take care of a small matter with her computer... and then there had been a distraction in the Blue Nowhere and suddenly, all the time seemed to have rushed past her. She wondered briefly if it was an effect of Torpor and pushed it aside. Best not to dwell on it. Clearly, she simply needed to prioritize - starting right now.
Jennifer drops her voice to subhuman levels, her voice a snake on dried leaves. It stays so very quiet as a whisper until her last sentence.

"I must apologize for checking out earlier, some things were distracting. A situation that shall not happen again." Jennifer assured, sincerity in her ruined voice.

"I think looking around is a marvelous idea. We mustn't be overtaken by 'friends' again. Have we questioned the homeless population?" Jennifer asked with a hint of interest. The homeless were a favored source of information for her.

"If there is a diner, there's an underpaid waitress who has seen something. Maybe a cook all too happy to undercook the meat and buy us some time while he's ... occupied."

All obvious suggestions, of course, and the sharp minds have likely already visited these ideas. Jennifer wonders if she's overcompensating for her absence. It is possible. Again, Jennifer pushes past it. Dialogue was opened and she looks from Nosferatu to Mekhet, her eyes bright and showing interest.

"Whats our timeline look like? If he's been through the motel already tonight, perhaps we can lay the ground work at the diner. Did you come in a vehicle?"


Jennifer looks around for Daniella's car. She was a bit uneasy here in the open.

In a slightly louder voice she states.
"A bit chilly."

"Tomorrow night, then." Jennifer inclines her head. "Tonights investigation is concluded, I gather. Shall we relocate to bring me up to speed for tomorrow's efforts? " Her words remain quiet and at a whisper.

She turns towards Daniella, including the Mekhet with the question.

Her head nods as she listens to Peter, silently agreeing with his words.

Eyes look to Jennifer, "Yes, lets relocate and debrief on what this evening yielded us." she says with a smile to the Haunt. "Can we move to the Flower Shop?" she asked, not wishing to overstep how generious Jennifer had been with allowing them to use the space.
