Terri's Mask is that of a petite, cute woman with vibrant red hair that has black streaks throughout. Obviously athletic, her natural demeanour is friendly and she always tends to have a smile on her face.

Her fae mien is akin to a red squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and ear tufts that poke through her hair. The black streaks are actually black feathers the are a part of her mien now,; a part of her noble order.

McKinley Park held such a special place in her heart that Terri had come to know it like the back of her hand. She had investigated all its nooks and crannies, and even though she was now divorced, the Rose Garden still held fond memories for her. The park itself was also a great place to train, a favourite spot for many joggers to frequent, and had enough 'obstacles' to provide any budding traceur with a little bit of a challenge.

Even in the crisp early evening of Spring, Terri felt warm and content, the lighting around the park sufficient. Even after all this time, the Beast still felt some measure of sanctuary in this place. Wearing a pair of white training pants, her favourite orange hoody and yellow running sneakers, Terri stood not too far from the pathway that led from 33rd St, stretching out her legs and arms in preparation for a good workout.

This scene is set at McKinley Park at around 20:00 hours not long after sundown, within the Changeling Freehold, the territory of the Crusaders and the Communal Hunting Grounds

It might have been Spring, but Summer would be coming soon. Rook could feel it in the air - the way the warmth of the sun was starting to creep up that bit earlier every morning, the way the leaves were green and the scent of budding flowers was in the air. The way the rains of Winter began to dry away, the earth beginning to bake hard. The rush of flowers and sanctuary was a natural place to be drawn to. The Metalflesh was an extremely fit man, and the prospect of being in motion was always a pleasant one, particularly with the crescendo of Summer bearing him up.

And particularly with his current athletics partner close at hand.

The Red Victor glanced at the Iron Adjutant as they moved through the park. His mirrored sunglasses had been exchanged for a set of mirrored wrap arounds. Other than that, he still dressed exactly the same as always - suit and tie, and leather shoes.

Rook operated on the principal that if he couldn't run in it normally, he shouldn't be wearing it, and his suits, he believed, made him look more approachable. When he grasped a conviction, it could be very hard to shake him of it.

    "It's a nice evening,"
he commented quietly to his partner, before raising a hand in greeting to Terri. His mouth curved in a trademark half-smile as he moved over. "Good evening, Terri. Great minds?"

The territory of the Crusaders enjoyed the presence of McKinley Park. It was a great place for a run, and the Iron Master was always working on his physical fitness. Sure, it was great to be able to box up a storm, but ultimately, sometimes, it came to speed and skill on foot. Plus, it felt good to let loose and run with the herd. Being around one's territory and understanding those who lived in it - that was how you honoured your territory in all things.

However, in all of his running through the Cru's part of the city, he had never before seen such a tough-looking older pair... hanging out with a girl who definately looked like she was about to run herself? The oddest thought occurred to him. Was he about to run in a suit?

    Question mark?

He stopped for a moment to stretch out. He wasn't right by Rook, Terri, or Anya of course, being a relatively polite sort of predator, but it seemed as good a place to stop as any. He really was wondering if suit-running was about to transpire, and if so, how it would go down. He smiled at the pair and went to stretching his muscular arms.

It had been some time since Anya had visited a park for the simple enjoyment of relaxing, people watching or engaging in a bit of light exercise. As she thought back on when that last time was, she realised that it had been Claire's birthday picnic. Then it had been Summer - a little under a year ago now. So much had happened since then, not least the other summer courtier's departure from Sacramento.

The Fairest raised her head to observe the darkening skies and she smiled ever so slightly. Summer was approaching. Her season. Anya gently squeezed Rook's arm, turning her smile to him. Their season.

    "It is, a wonderful evening."

Spotting the Autumn Sovereign ahead of them, Anya nodded politely and raised her hand halfway in greeting. They hadn't really socialised particularly much; the last time really had been that curious club with the obsession for whips and leather. Anya was almost certain there had been a mutual surprise at seeing each other there.

"Terri," the Fairest added as further greeting. The languid smile remained as she studied the park, observing the activity nearby. There had been many such days and nights in park, many years ago. It offered fond memories, only slightly tinged with sadness.

If he wanted to recover his full shape, Miach couldn't afford to slack in his training. Beside, he intended to do another trek during summer, and that would require he be in top shape. Nothing else would do in the Valley of Death. As soon as he had checked the weather forecast for the evening, he put on his running clothes, and headed for McKinley Park. He usually ran in Tahoe Park, but once in a while, the Acanthus enjoyed a change of scenery.

He parked near the Sac Bee, and started jogging leisurely along 33rd St then into the park proper. He was starting his interval training regimen when he couldn't help but notice a gathering of like minded joggers beside an odd man in suit and tie. Had he been actually running in that outfit ? Even if it w as the man that had caught his sight, the two women beside him were quite remarkable too. And one happened to be Terri, whom he had met a few times at the Pipeworks.

Slowing as he neared the group, Miach stopped a few steps away, and walked the last few yards, catching his breath in the meantime. "Good evening. If it isn't Terri ? How are you ? Enjoying the fresh air out of the Pipeworks after winter has finally released its grasp on the weather, eh ?" did he say with a jovial smile. The tall blonde man then extended his hand to the suited man ( Rook ) and the entrancing woman beside ( Anya Wyrmblood ), offering them the best smile his breath allowed. "Jonathan Blyes, nice to meet you."

Terri looked up from stretching out her hamstrings, smiling as she recognized the voice. For some reason, however, the Dread Lady wasn't surprised to see Rook still in a suit. Even if the shades had changed.

"Apparently so," Terri grinned, standing up straight before bringing her left foot up to her butt and stretching out her left thigh. She seemingly balanced perfectly on one foot without a hint of wobble. "Evening, Anya, hope you're well?"

Seeing another guy in the park, Terri's eyes smoothed over him until she turned as she heard her voice, recognizing the man fro Pipeworks. "Hey, Jon, I'm okay, thanks. Just about to go for a jog, perhaps some parkour. How have you been? Still going to Pipeworks?"

The tall Acanthus nodded to the petite redhaired, obviously glad that to hear she was fine.

"Been doing mostly fine, thanks." No need to linger on his wound if it could be skipped.

"Yes, I'm still going to the Pipeworks, of course. I'm no regular, but once every so often, it's nice. Whenever work allows..." which wasn't often enough to his taste, but it couldn't be helped, so...

"Do you mind if I join you for the jog ? As for Parkour, I'd love to give it a try, but I'd need to learn it first..." the innuendo was obvious, but Miach didn't want to sound rude or insistant about it, and he tried to make it sound light, if possible.

Terri politely declines. She, Anya, Nick, and Rook leave.
