Sensing the tide begin to turn, Charles Black decided that it was definitely time to leave.

He locked eyes with his cousin.

In a pinstriped blur, the Ventrue exited.

Charles Black ties Initiative with Ricardo.
Charles Black Activates Celerity to raise his Initiative.
@Ricardo rolls Resolve + Composure + BP vs. 5 Successes to resist Dominate.
Charles Black takes his full Movement with Celerity.
@Ricardo is UP.

When Charles issues his command, Ricardo has deja vu. He remembers the many times his Sire used the Lordly words to force his will. He was forced to stand idly by as horrible things happened to people he cared about. He was forced to collect Kine for human sacrifices. He was forced to imprison Kindred for sacrifice later. He is so used to doing what he is told. He is a pair of arms.

He almost falls under Charles' spell.

At the last second, the Smoking Mirror intervenes. He is not your Sire. He is not your Master.

In less than the time it would take a mortal to blink, Ricardo is running after Charles. With any luck, he would be able to tackle his cousin before the man got a chance to escape. The odds were slim, but the Hispanic Lord and the Smoking Mirror were angry.
