The Shamans Gather

Happily taking the apple juice and starting to look around for a glass or cup.
”Thanks, lets stick with apple to not affect the taste buds.” The tropical always leaving a bit of a lingering aftertaste. ”What fun is life if you never indulged in some parties, I still attend my fair share of clubs or parties myself, just do it on Fanta and virgin drinks. Even if being stationary has lessened it.” Unknowingly touching against the poison vial necklace around her neck in tandem with her last sentence. ”Do admit that I have been looking for a new kind of place to hang for it though.” Unsuccessfully thus far but not really having dedicated much time to it either. ”My old ones have started to hold to many issues.” Looking over towards her fellow arrow. ”Hope you attended some at least, if you´re uni parties were anything like my local college ones so damn it could be a blast, provided the right people hosted them.”

”Offer is there, and not going anywhere.” If it wasn´t of interest well it was still there, and sometimes that was enough.

Smiling towards him.
”Unfortunately we have had a lot happen and very little chance to focus on just social bonding as a group.” Softly chuckling to herself. Well seems you did fail to force me to conquer the mechanical dragon though. ”But we are here now, and have reason to be merry.”

Giving a quick nod to their hostess.
”That sounds perfect and delicious, I love meat and whom could say no to a nice burger. Thank you for all your hard work.” Having been so damn hungry these past months that meat overall sounded amazing. ”Anything I can help with?”

[Aurora]

“Just make sure to give me your honest opinion on it, trying a new company for the hops.” And she was sort of on the fence about it.

“See, I think I did it all backwards.” Laughing, “I’m doing all my serious studying type days now. Between my languages and degree studies, I think I’m one of those late-stage in life college people. When I was in school way back when, we were not allowed to drink.” Another soft chuckle and shrug. “Though I certainly still go out and party and a lot of the clubs know me by name.” though if that was because of her fame or not, she wasn’t sure.

“I’ve just always been more of a solo kind of person.” Even asking for help wasn’t something she was comfortable with.

Shrugging, “I enjoy grilling, it’s the only form of cooking I do.”

Catching Skye looking for a cup out of the corner of her eye, she opens a cabinet and gets one, handing it to her.

She was sure the other two would bond, but bonding just wasn’t her thing. Arm’s length was always her thing, it was known and it was comfortable. “Social bonding huh?” a slight smirk to Skye.

“Uh,” looking at the counter, “some help bring the plates out to the grill would be great!” there were plates with steaks and hamburgers on them.

The Arrow Chuckled to himself a little at Skye's comment about indulging in parties. “Way back then, I did need to loosen up a little from my studies, but didn't. After that, I had a good reason to be anti-social to a sort of degree.” He looks down at his drink as he smiles to himself then taking a sip from the offered beer. “I must admit, It is interesting to hear that both of my fellow shamans are such outgoing people...” Realising that could be taken very badly without context. “...what I mean is, the lifestyle choice you both describe is something I have not personally experienced very much and I find it fascinating to listen to peoples different perspectives and paths.”

Sliding in a slight addition to Skye's comment on social bonding between them. “I think that will come in its own time when people are comfortable. I am certain between us we have plenty of experiences between us that allows us to be comfortable in each others company.” You can't force people to get along, no matter how hard you try.
A nod is given to the last comment on the matter about being merry.

Taking another drink and this time trying to form an opinion on the drink to respond to Aurora. While the Arrow was slowly coming out of his shell when it came to alcohol, he was far from disgusted by the taste of the drink. “It is actually very nice, I might have a very unrefined palette but there is a lovely zing to the taste. Have you tried some yourself or is this the first time cracking one open?”

A smile at Aurora's comments about learning late in life. “If life has suggested anything to me. You never stop learning, the important take away from what you are doing is that you are making the effort to keep pushing on.” An eyebrow raised as the comment of drinking at school. “Do you mean college or high school? I remember way back when I was in secondary school, or high school for you guys, such rules were in place.” A surprised look at the revelation that Aurora was know at clubs by name. “I assume that is for a good reason and not because you are a trouble maker on the dance floor. That is kind of interesting though, what's it like being known at such clubs? If that is not too personal of course.”

No words came from the Arrow at Aurora's statement that she was a solo kind of person. The difficulty you expressed to me on that day when you needed help. I can't imagine how much strength that took. I am so glad that I did not let you down, and maybe one day you can let go of that restraint on yourself. He took another sip of the drink while he thought.
