[Thirteen]

A hot chocolate? At this time of year? Seemed a bit odd to her, but Thirteen shrugged. "Sure. Why not?"

Her eyes turned back towards Skye, "Recommendations? Hmm." She thought a moment, running her fingertips over the spines of some random books, "I always liked the works of Lemony Snicket when I was a child. If you're lookin' for more adult fare, I'm not sure I can help."

The Shaman's follow-up question, whispered as if it were inappropriate, seemed to amuse the Acanthus and she responded in kind. "Yes. It's a pretty common nickname for redheads. Hardly the worst thing I've been called."

[Skye]

Snapping her fingers upon her right hand and closing the book with a raised voice towards Eidolon to make sure the warlock would be able to hear her.
”Seems you have a sore lack of books in the language, either that or I missed them.” Then again not like most book stores tended to carry them around here unless you went online. ”Do you have rainbow sprinkles?”

”Lemony Snicket?” Blinking at the woman with a new name. ”Sounds kinda cute, I can see why it would draw in someone younger but I do not think they are for me sadly enough, then again one never knows. What kind of books is it?”

Hudging in just a little closer hand still up and standing upon her toes to close the height difference, enjoying the little tissle tassle game.
”What incredibly dull imagination people have, then again the times I have been called ghost, ghoul, vampire, goth, night queen or milky is also exceedingly high.” A look around as if it was some grand secret talk, more so for the fun of it than truly wanting to conceal anything as she keeps up the whispers. ”Care to share some of the worst for a curious pale pixie?”

[Eidolon]

"Ah gotcha, two hot chocolates." And at the call for sprinkles he looks around, sprinkles, sprinkles. Finding some he puts some on both cups. Grabbing the cups he heads back downstairs, "Ladies as requested two hot chocolates."

"I am sorry Aella; I may be able to find the book for you if you didn't find it. I am still getting all my resources together, but if you want to leave me the name of the book and the author, I can search for it. There should be a pen and pad there with the inventory book." Eidolon moves over and picks up the pad and pen and places it for Skye to write if she wants.

"Ah Lemony Snicket, I do believe I saw a first printing of the first Series of Unfortunate Events when I was going through the inventory." Eidolon looks through the inventory book finding one, "Ah perfect, it should be under the authors last name so if you want it, it should be there under Snicket."

[Thirteen]

The Acanthus had been poking around in the historical section when the hot chocolate was prepared and presented. "Oh, thanks." She accepted one mug.

Thirteen looked at the tiny Arrow, "A Series of Unfortunate Events? It's sort of a dark comedy, and a mystery. It's been made into a movie before, and a TV show. Lemony Snicket is just a pen name the author used. He wrote some other stuff, but the Unfortunate Events books are his most famous work."

"The worst names I been called?" Where would she even begin? It was a long list. "Foul-mouthed bitch probably wasn't the worst, but it pops up often."

She had a question of her own for the curious Shaman. "What kind of name is Aella?"

A first printing of the Lemony Snicket books did catch her attention. She turned and looked at the Warlock. "Eh? Like, the whole series?"

[Skye]

Taking the other cup with her gloved hand, a bit hesitant but soon taking a sip with a breath of calmness upon her.
”Thank you, damn does this warm after a long walk.” Wasn´t this supposed to be a warm place why were the nights still so cold?

About to take the pen before falling back with a shake of her head.
”Primarily it is Haiganu Tristețea zeilor I am after by Marian Coman, been curious about the conclusion for months now. But I am good, it will show up sooner or later.”

Snapping her fingers at the Acanthus.
”Ohh those, yeah I know them, or well know of. Say is it true that the movie they made portrayed the world exceedingly poorly as it is meant to be a far more fantastical and odd world as a whole that makes little sense. But that within the movie gets a lot more grounded and does not follow the wonder of imagination it is meant to hold?”

Moving a little closer for the whisper, a bit chuckling over the completely unimportant tissle tazzle secrecy.
”So you are a very fun person to be around that does not mince her words, sun like a good trait to me.”

Falling back with an innocent whistle towards Eidolon as she gets down from her tippy toes.
”What nothing we did not whisper in secrecy what are you thinking VS?” Knowing it was a fully unprompted reaction before looking back to the other woman. ”Aella the tempest, one of Hippolyte's warriors, if it worked for her why should I complain about wearing it?”

[Eidolon]

Eidolon chuckles at Skyes sudden talk about the whispering. Looking at his inventory book again, "Well I have first printings of the first three books it seems. The rest of them are reprintings after the series came out. They still have the original cover though, so that is a plus. If you want them, I can go get them for you."

Eidolon looked at Skye, "The name Aella is beautiful and strong just like you. I like your name too Violet; it reminds me of my childhood and watching the original Willy Wonka movie."

[Thirteen]

It would be a nice thing, to have original printings of the books that had helped get her though a rough childhood. Thirteen's interest was obvious, making no effort to hide it. "I'd like to see them, sure."

An red eyebrow raised at Skye's whisper, "Fun is not somethin' I get called a lot. I tend to be... honest about my feelin's, aye." Blunt is another word for that.

"Ach, so it's Greek. Got it." Her curiosity was sated on that point. The Enchantress sipped some of the cocoa she'd been given. Not bad. She looked back towards Eidolon, "Thanks. I always liked the name."

[Skye]

The books of which they were discussing mostly unknown to her and not something to even begin and feel safe discussing deeper than she had as such letting silence be her ally as the two discuss, not like she saw any deeper meaning in first or second editions either.

”Thanks VS, but hey I am small and weak like an ant you know. What about you though what books hold your interest? Seeing as you opt to run a store” Something she would never be able to grasp how an awakened could feel safe doing. ”so do I assume that you have quite an interest. So what books sparked the imagination alive enough for you to dedicate yourself to books so? I must admit that I personally only really started to get into reading not to long ago, never really read much in my youth.” Audiobooks had been a nice ally on the last few years of walking and staying up late during camp work though.

Having expected the whispering to be done as she moves back in close to answer the whisper in kind once more, fully alright with playing the whispering role.
”People are sensitive pricks you do you.”

Nodding.
”Yeah, Rose is fine to if that is easier to recall or pronounce.” Or a nickname, not like she cared what she was called.

[Eidolon]

"So the bookstore sort of fell on my lap sweetheart. A friend and former mentor of mine left it to me when he moved away from here. But I have always been into plenty of books. I used to read a lot of science and occult style books. I was into the science of ghosts, ESP, telepathy and telekinesis."

Eidolon then walked around to one of the bookshelves near the interest. Pulling out two books and looking at them before placing one back. Walking back to another shelf closer to the girls and pulling out another book, this one looking a little older than a lot of others. "Here you go Violet, you can have it no charge. Think of it as a peace offering." He says as he hands Thirteen the first printing of the first Series of Unfortunate Events book. Then looking to Skye, "Here you go hun, this is one of my favorite books. I was surprised he had kept it all this time. You may find it interesting in regard to the club."

[Thirteen]

The Arcadian Mage looked curiously at Skye, then nodded. "I can pronounce Aella just fine. I was just wonderin' the origins of the name. That's all." She gave a little shrug. "Rose is also good."

Her expression was one of surprise, and a little suspicion, and she stared at the book that was suddenly in her hand. "Free? Peace offerin'?" The redhead turned her eyes up towards the Warlock. "You're sure about this? Isn't it the point of your shop to sell books?"
