Anton briefly considered how the position what the position would mean for both his clan and his covenant, and what exactly was meant by 'offer'. He was unable to think of any convincing cons.

"Then I gratefully accept the Prince's offer, Deputy. Those sins that are anathema to the Sanctified regularly coincide with the law of this Domain. I will gladly hunt those enemies under the title offered to me."

The Haunt's expression warms.

"Deputy Greyson. He's the one who challenged Wilhelm von Schusten, yes?"

[Thomas Connor]

A genuine smile appears on Thomas' face as Anton accepts the position. "Excellent." He was glad to have the Haunt as a fellow deputy, he'd been impressed with the haunt's performance in the tournament.

"Deputy Greyson indeed did challenge Wilhelm Von Schusten during the most recent Court."

[Victoria Stamford]

When the people had assembled, the Seneschal turned to them and looked each over. After a moment of silence she spoke up.

"I am Lady Seneschal Stamford, the Ventrue Priscus and you are here because you seek residence in Sacramento. Before I begin I would like a name, clan, and covenant if applicable from each of you."

[Martha Villiers]

Her mission with Mr Mason completed, Martha limped back over towards the vicinity of the Prince. Smiling carefully to herself as she made her steady way back...paying close attention not to bump into things and to stay, not too close, but in hailing distance of The Prince.

"Natasha Lake of the Daeva," Natasha announced with a confident tone. "I am currently Unbound to any Covenant," she added, wondering if that would hold her at a disadvantage.

Asa wasn't entirely certain what to say; first she had asked him about it as if asking permission, then when he'd given it, she'd said she was only thinking about it. It made little sense.

Unless this is one of those awkward I'm-trying-to-be-friends-because-I-said-we-would-and-I-don't-want-to-go-back-to-the-Barrens conversations.

"Do think about it," he offered. "Perhaps it might interest some, like Venery, but I doubt the Court at large will be pleased. As a member of the Second Estate, surely you realize the value of traditions and how... resistant... change can be."

[Katrina Scherbotsky]

Katrina smiled, despite her hatred of the term 2nd Estate. "Of course. We are static creatures by nature... but I think I have said this before? Change never comes easy. I am perhaps a bit too open to change at times. I would need to have an alternative in place for anyone that did not wish to participate. The ideas were paintball a blood drive or Masquerade ball , although I believe the last one was done not so long ago."

Anton replies with a nod. He says nothing on Greyson's actions, but the wry gleam in his eye suggests that the Haunt was at least entertained.

"Bold times, Deputy. Thank you for relaying this to me. I suggest we meet at some point; so we might fashion an agenda against the enemies of the Domain."
