Asa jerked the phone away from his ear as the screaming started. Listening to the tinny voice on the distant phone, he asked, "Who's dead? Who is this?"

"ASA LIONI! MADAME MORTE!" she cries hysterically, sobbing and shaking, you can hear the phone rattling against one of her earrings.
