After getting Cassie settled into her new room, Bella decides she needs to call the Prince immediately. It wasn't that a new kindred coming into the city so soon after Court that was so important, it was that it was a child kindred.
She dials his number and prays that he will not be vexed with her calling him.

He was about to reply to Erika, when his phone rang. Looking at it, and seeing who it was, he answered. Normally he wouldn't interrupt a conversation for a phone call, but it might be something important.
"Hi, Bella," he said, trying to be as least offensive to Erika as possible.

"Prince Clarke, please forgive my intrusion but I have a delicate matter I need to speak with you about. It would seem we have a new addition to the city and no she cannot go to the Seneschal, she must go to you. This may sound odd, but you will understand when you meet her."

Asa pulled his phone away and stared at it.
Are they all going to talk to me that way now? And why wouldn't Rahyna be able to acknowledge someone?
He looked at Erika, who was also on the phone. They'd probably be done by the time Bella arrived.
"Certainly," he replied. "I'm at Avalon, Olivette will show you to the office, if you've never been."
Damn tempting to call her Primogen Inquisitor Orchid when she arrived.

Bella tries not to sigh and sound irritated. After all, the Prince had no idea who she was trying to get acknowledged, it was not his fault he was sending her somewhere she couldn't go. "Ummm, right. I don't think that is going to be possible Prince Clarke. Cassie will not be able to get into a club. Is there a back door we could go through maybe?"

Asa stared at his phone again.
Who can't get into a club? Sunshine can't. Valencia can't.
"Sure, there's a back door to the alley. I'll make sure someone is waiting for you," he said.

"Thank you Prince Clarke, I am in your debt. We will be there shortly."
