Before the second ring can finish the phone is picked up, a bored voice coming over the line to say "Thank you for calling Fresh Cotes we do full coats touch-ups custom panels and murals airbrush a specialty." It sounds like Daryl's step-son Yeah-Yeah, and it sounds like Yeah-Yeah's reading off a new greeting without much enthusiasm. "How can we help you?"
"Dizzy, man, what's up?" Instantly the voice perks up--it's someone cool calling, not a customer. "Yeah-yeah I'm bored, it's dead as shit over here. What's crackin'?"
"Yeah-yeah, hold on a sec." You're put on hold for nearly a minute before the phone is picked up again--this time by Daryl. "Dizzy! Hey, how's it hanging?"
"It's good, it's good. 'S solid. Why, man, you want to get an appointment in? I can always make room for m'boy."
"Shit, Dare, I'm just messing with you," Daryl laughs. "You don't need an appointment. You come in any time, I'll fit you in somehow. Marquisa been askin' 'round about you, too. We ain't seen you in too long, m'man."
