After being struck, the wily Nosferatu decides to play dead, curious to see what Meghan is up to.
Unfortunately, she's up to stuffing him in the trunk and driving off.
The mighty warrior finds himself folded like a pretzel in a dark, hot, bone-jarring boot of a Miata, wondering why him? Again?

O-Yama sits in the dark, waiting to arrive at their destination, wondering where exactly he was being taken to, and how much hell he'd have to deal with when they arrived. Sitting silent, part of him couldn't help a creeping feeling of Horizon-all-over-again syndrome coming to the fore.

The car eventually stops, and O-Yama can faintly hear voices and smell...
...something burning. A fire?
The voices approach the car, still indistinct, and he can hear a key turn in the cylinder before the trunk opens.

|
O-Yama closes his eyes and pretends to remain unconscious once more, waiting, though the smell of the flames brings the Oni, the Bearer of Lanterns roaring to life inside of him, but he calms the Beast quickly and efficiently, waiting for his moment.

Did O-Yama recover his katana from Horizon? Is it with him?

He had it with him obfuscated when he met with Max and Dirge at Avalon, and since the scenes are linked, I would assume also in My God and now this scene.

nope, was never asked for one so I figured it was a case of "power cast before entering the scene" like we often do, you want me to roll for it?

Uh, no.
"Coooooooool," says a male voice, and O-Yama feels his katana tugged away.
Several murmurs of different voices are heard, words like awesome, holy shit, for real, shiny, bling bling, money
"Why did you hit him with the bat?" asks the original voice.
"What the fuck did you expect me to do? The crazy fuck is carrying around a sword...," answers Meghan.
"What's that smell? Did he shit himself when you hit him?"
"..."

O-Yama has to hold himself back from fighting when his katana is taken from him, though every instinct tells him to reach out after it. He sits still, waiting and silent, his single remaining eye closed.
