The Haunts Converge

Arnold has prepared the room in the basement of the Sundown Sacramento Hotel that he used in the past for such meetings in similar fashion tonight as other nights. The bare concrete walls are covered in thick, dark-red cloth hangings and there is a large wooden table positioned in the middle of the room. Rather than use the florescent lighting mounted on the ceiling Arnold has brought in a number of lamps which offer a much more muted lighting than the stark white provided by the overhead installations.

Gary Williams, Arnold's ghoul, waits to receive the clan members and escort them to the meeting room.

Michael killed time along the way to the Hotel by going over all the possible scenarios that could happen at this meeting of the Haunts after the Court happening.

Hmm the Reeve could just shout at all of those who didn't defend him and guilt them into not showing family loyalty, O-Yama and him could go into another shouting match, maybe Dirge will shout at them too, I've never heard her shout but I'm sure she has a loud voice, or maybe Dirge and O-Yama will have plotted something and will manage to attack the Reeve together to which he'll swing his ax at both of them and take both of their heads to which the Seneschal will make some comment like 'Really Culler? This will not help your case in maintaining your title as Reeve.

Stepping into the hotel he waits for Gary to lead him down to the basement where he sees Culler and nods to him. "Good evening Lord Culler, it's good to see you again."

[Heathcliff Staley]

Heathcliff enters the hotel and allows Gary to lead himself downstairs, confident for once, or at least, as close to confident as the shaky, nervous man ever gets without a woman on his arm. Instead of his grey suit, he had worn the black one, with a red tie overlain on his white collared shirt which was described to him as a 'power' tie by the gregarious young man at the store. It wasn't working very well. The briefcase, however, was very official looking, and was a comfort to him in such times as these. The Nosferatu were in danger of splintering. Heathcliff would not, could not, allow this to come to pass.

"Regent Culler, Michael," he says, nodding amiably to both. "Good evening." He is not inclined to idle chatter tonight. There was business to discuss.

[O-Yama]

O-Yama arrives wearing a white business suit, his katana obfuscated at his waist. It wasn't that he expected a fight, but he wasn't sure what to expect of Culler anymore, not with the play he had made, and so he arrives, wearing the traditional japanese color for death, with his blade, cleansed meticulously, cloaked but ready to draw blood. He nods to Gary and follows the ghoul to the meeting area.

As he enters, he gives a small nod to Hall, and a short bow to Seneschal Staley. He looks to Culler, a small smile on his lips, and gives a shorter bow. "Good evening, Priscus Culler, Senescal Staley, Mr. Hall."

[Fractured]

O-Yama needs to roll for Obf 1, -3 penalty for size. Arnold needs to roll Int + Inv + Auspex to see through it.

[Dean]

Anton Flores loped into the Sundown wearing faded clothes flecked with soil. One hand clutched a canvass bag slung over one shoulder. His arms bore a snaking tapestry of ciphered scripture; a hidden gospel writ across the skin in ragged, bloodless wounds, crudely filled with ink. He stared empty-eyed at the ghoul and followed behind as another was led.

Suppressing his Beast, Anton frowned upon entering the room. The low light helped. He'd decided that the meeting was a good opportunity to become known to the city and get the measure of its Haunts. He watched them from the back, listening to the titles and terms thrown about before venturing across the floor.

[Dirge]

Dirge was really not looking forward to this meeting and had considered not attending simply out of caution. After all there wasn't much Culler could do to her openly, unless he is going to try and be cute with his whole regency thing and host a mandatory meeting here then try to pull a fast one. However, the risk of not attending was potentially more damaging so in the end she decided to attend and hoped that at least O-yama wouldn't let the others do anything to her...that is if he showed up.

Dirge arrived in nice presentable clothing that could be moved in easily which consisted of bluejeans and a t-shirt along with her ever-present blindfold. At her side Cerberus led the way into the hotel, while her cane tapped on the floor. Making her way to the back room where the meeting was she considered her options and wondered what exactly he planned to discuss at this meeting.

She entered the room listening to the voices of those present.

Arnold smiles, nodding cordially to Michael. He remembered how the man had spoken up at Court and had found that the Carthian had not given Arnold any reason to outright dislike the man. "Good evening, Mister Hall."

Heathcliff comes next and Arnold notices the change in outward dress and demeanor. He wondered what he carried in his briefcase. "Hello, Seneschal. Thank you for coming."

He'll probably try to take Priscus tonight. I would.

Soon thereafter O-Yama enters and Arnold is shocked to see the man openly carrying steel.

If one looked up 'unsubtle' in the dictionary...

"Mr. Hatori. Glad you could make it. If you could be so kind as to leave your weapon outside my ghoul will be sure to take excellent care of it. I called this family gathering as a means to reunite the Clan, and your blade seems to me a detriment to those proceedings."

At least have the presence of mind to carry something smaller, or to cloak the weapon with the Blood.

Turning back to the door he notices a figure enter the room whom he had not seen since his first nights in Sacramento "Mr. Flores. What an unexpected pleasure. I didn't know you were back in town."

When Dirge enters the room Arnold smirks a little, somewhat surprised she had actually come.

Good.

"Miss Dirge, welcome." he says, perhaps a bit louder than necessary. If she wanted attention called to her so badly, after all.

Looking around it seemed as if this would be all who would make it tonight. Still, Gary waited outside to receive any latecomers. Arnold made his way over to the table and took a seat, indicating that the others to do the same so that the meeting could begin.
