(1005) Avalon Underground

As Kindred arrive at Avalon, they are discreetly met and led to the back of the club; some may recognize the area leading to rear stairs upward. New construction is apparent, as there are now stairs leading downward. The space downstairs is new, and decorated in dark, rich velvets and brocade in accordance with the gothic theme. There's a coat room that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, at the foot of the stairs. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions.

The common area circles the Court proper, and it becomes apparent that this is not decorated for a single evening. Small symbols note areas for Kindred only that branch off of the Commons, which will be necessary once those Kine privileged enough to see behind the Masquerade filter in: ghouls, herd members, or even devotees.

Asa's own herd is divided between dancing and circulating with small trays containing wine glasses, scalpels, and crimson napkins made of heavy silk. Each wears a delicate silver filigree chain with an 'AC' hanging from it.

This will be the new 'constant' Court, that is always open. Most of the time Asa will be available here; you can also see the Seneschal and Harpy have offices.

You can show off your herdz 'n shit yo... however, the red areas are for Kindred or ghouls of Court officers only.

Clan Prisci may reserve meeting rooms for Clan meetings, otherwise they can be general purpose party rooms or if someone becomes influential enough (like a Primogen) they may get a room assigned to them.

The private/feeding rooms are for Dracul & Invictus only

Entering Avalon and Jayant sighed. Another month come and gone and another court also. One thing was different this time though, and that was the fact he had been gifted with a domain of his own, along with a hotel to supervise, something he had only recently begun to get involved with, especially since moving his haven from the Old Crone Temple to the Sterling.

Another thing that had changed since the last court.

He was now Unaligned and need to protect no-one. It brought a small smile of freedom to his face, and after checking in his kukri at the cloak room, Jayant entered the court proper, ready for another night of socializing, and waits patiently to feel the Beast react.

Victoria had ensured that everything was set up properly and everyone knew their places prior to the opening of the doors. She didn't want any last minute snag to cast a bad light on her Patron. The realization suddenly hit her that essentially was the way things were.

The Harpy pushed these thoughts out of her mind as she spotted Jayant. She made one final check over one of the statues she had brought in for the event, this one a weeping angel. Nodding with satisfaction at its placement she made her way closer to the entrance to be at hand when people began to arrive. She wore a dress of black velvet and red to fit with the theme of the night along with Asa's choker that he gifted her with some time ago.

"Primogen Nagaraj Good to see you this evening," she said as she approached.

Joseph looks around as he is led further into Avalon. It almost makes him reconsider why he had decided to pursue becoming something more instead of pursuing power. Right now power was looking very good and his recent dead ends in the Great Work wasn't helping any.

As some would notice, he was wearing the same suit he had worn sometime in the past. He liked this set of clothes and didn't really want to move any money in that direction either. Entering Court proper he looks around for anyone he knows reasonably well, finding none he dailies on the side waiting to see who shows.

Joseph

[Shadow]

Shadow enters the underground area, sweeping down the stairs with an unhurried grace. She stops just outside the enterence and looks around at the layout of the place. She spots the Harpy, Primogen, and the Deputy in conversation and decides to wander until they are finished with their greetings. She doesn't want to walk over and interrupt.

She contents herself with walking through the open areas and marveling at how much work had been done in such a short period of time. Granted the Prince had not informed of the project beforehand but if she knew him as well as she'd like to think, it had not taken him long to see his vision realized.

At length she comes to stand near the small group of kindred and waits her turn to say her hello's.

Shadow accepts the rose with a polite curtsey and a slight frown. She doesn't recognize the voice and the face is too covered for her to figure out who it is.

"Good evening.......I'm sorry sir but I believe I am at a disadvantage. You know my name however I cannot recall your's."

[Max Heinz]

*Max arrives shortly behind Shadow, making his way down to the appointed area for court. He'd tried to arrive early; and it was... for Max. He's glad to see it was only a few Kindred already there, making his way to stand in proximity to Shadow, giving the Oracle a slight bow of the head.

He was a little... confused by the concept of Goth culture. Basic research had shown it had links to Victorian styling, but with more leather and less covering the women. He'd managed to find something from the proper time frame, but he still had no idea where all the watch fobs were supposed to go...*

Charlie

The most gothic Charlie had was black jeans a black t-shirt and the leather jacket he always wore, And that was going to have to do for now. Deciding to keep his jacket, he waited in line behind Max, seeing Markos up ahead. When he gets into the room he approaches Markos and Harpy Stamford, nodding to both of them but not interrupting.

Michael

Dressed in a black suit with red vest and tie, Michael arrived with a cane in hand, not quite his style but it would only be one night so he didn't mind. Not recognizing anyone in particular, Michael keeps his eye on the entrance waiting to see if he recognizes any newcomers.
