Damn was there a gun battle here and the bodies left to rot? This shit is fucked up. Those are explosions and shrapnel marks, IED's maybe grenades?

<<Yes pack leader, caution will be taken.>> James sniffs around behind Alison, then stops as a thought occurs to him and inspects the wrecked interior door, seeing if spiderwebs have been spun in the gaps and how much dust has settled on it.

The door is free of spiderwebs. Then again, the building has been pretty free of anything for spiders to nom on, as well.
Jameson looks around the scene, observing what looked to be a pretty massive firefight. "Allsion, you still want me on opposable thumb duty? I can take down alot rougher shit if im in Urshul or Urhan."

James whines quietly and moves to catch up with Alison. <<No spiders, no prey for spiders, this metal den feels more and more -wrong-.>> He lowers his head, the hackles on his back standing up as his tenseness increases.

<<"Go ahead, Urhan until fighting starts,">> Alison said to Jameson. When she finished she shifted in to her human form and her bare feet carefully padded down the hallway. She continued checking rooms carefully as she made her way down the hallway looking for anything else out of the ordinary or any people or bodies.

Starting with the floor we are on now after coming down from the roof. We are working our way top down clearing room by room to make sure there is nothing behind us.
Jameson nodded, and shifted to urhan. Mentally, he echoed James' sentiments. Something was wrong with this place, and it was their job to right it.

As the door opens, the screeching that was only annoying on the roof is teeth shattering in the enclosed stairwell that acts as an echo chamber, reverberating until the source seems to come from all around.

Small bits of debris pry loose as the door also grates against the cement floor, falling below.
Or maybe that noise is something else.
