Alison arrived at the Granite Park skate park leading those from her pack that followed her from her apartment. She approached the skate park entrance and looked around for anyone else present besides their pack. The last thing she needed was another member of the herd pokin' their nose in things again. When she reached the entrance she stopped and stood waiting for everyone to settle in.
Jameson follows closely behind, keeping a sharp eye for anything seeming amiss or wrong.

James nods at Alison and glances around the park as he takes it in and sees who's still hee at this time, running into Tali again would be annoyingly, hopefully she'd gone elsewhere.

Once she was satisfied that there wasn't any herd immediately close by she led Jameson and James over to a bench near the skate park entrance. Alison felt the familiar death resonance as he stood near the bench.
"Here we are. We'll cross over and poke around some before heading north," she said sofly.

James nods and closes his eyes, letting the aura of the area flow over him. "Hm, what happened here to cause this? I'd have thought it'd take a lot of death to form a locus. As for crossing over, do you want someone to lead that?"

The resonance seems slightly stronger...
...until one notices that there's an actual odor of death, as well.

As soon as she spoke Alison gave a concerned look as she felt that the strength of the locus had greatly increased. "This has a far stronger resonance of death than before," then she smelled death on the air. She gave an audible snif before she spoke, "You smell that? Death. Looks like we have something that needs looking into here first."

There's a large concrete building that's three stories; a squat, abandoned Bell building that parkour traceurs practice on. About 200M away is an industrial building that's five stories tall. There are the concrete skating areas, and the park is lined to the south with trees.

Jameson gives James a look, in response to his question. "Massive amounts of the appropriate essence is all it takes to create a locus...It might not have just been numbers, but a particularly traumatic death could have easily caused such a thing to be created.". He takes a closer look at the bench/locus while he thinks. "Allison, have you ever looked into how this locus was created?"

Alison shook her head no at Jameson's question, "We really haven't had time. There was so much going on that it was a low priority. To be honest I don't think the previous alpha or the boneshadow even thought of it. It looks like it is long overdue. We'll need to figure this thing out here first it looks like. Lets see if we can find that death scent."
Alison glanced around her once again and if there was no one to see her she shifted into her wolf form and soon there was a small coyote-like redwolf standing where she had been. It was then that she remember that she didn't have her dedicated clothing on and she had just ruined her clothes. She heaved a mental sigh before sniffing the the ground trying to locate the trail. At least she always kept extra clothes in her jeep.
