Cleaning Up

[West]

After a break in by Vector, the Museum is thrown into disarray -- both literally and figuratively. Electricians have been called, and facilities maintenance crews are cleaning up the water damage, but those that were subjected to Backlash will take longer to 'fix'. So too will the fact that the Hierarch has given the Trench journals to Vector, in exchange for the life of her excised brother --Niles Plotski.

West has escorted Andrade and Niles back to the Sanctum, and Tyria remains to oversee the restoration of the Museum.

This takes place after the Anomalies have subsided; for those wounded with bashing damage, calculate and hour and a half (6 points) as healed.

This thread rejoins 'normal' continuity.

Spade Leans back against the wall in silence. He head hurt and his should would be messed up for another day or so. But he as fine. He looks at Eclipse and fingers what was left of his phone. With and effort of will and come concentration, it was good as new.

He sent texts to his boss and a couple non-profits. He was taking the the next few days off. Once done. he looks back to Eclipse. "You feeling better?"

[Eclipse]

Eclipse had been mostly silent since regaining consciousness as well, trying to absorb all that had happened - particularly the implications it would hold for his Order. He had found a chair and was now sitting cradling the most severe of his wounds. His headache had faded by now, but the cuts he had suffered from Vector's weapon were still paining him greatly.

When Spade asks him how he's doing he simply turns to look at him and moves his hand away from his wounds to show the scorched gashes he had suffered. "A little."

"I can turn the scar into a picture of your mom." Spade jokes. It felt good to laugh after so much adrenaline.

"That was a dumb idea man.. A smart one. But one of the dumbest things I've ever done."

[Sherrinford]

Jordan drifted into the room after a trip to the necessary. He had spent a heartbeat looking in the mirror, looking for the young, bright, cheery scholar who had it all together. What he saw was a ghoul, the shape and shadow of a human being. The young Mystagogue shook his head to clear it, and finished washing his hands.

He went over to Eclipse first, and looked carefully. "I don't think we need to change your bandages yet, Deacon. You're not bleeding out right now, just hold still."

Then he went over to Spade. "You're looking a little better, Counselor. You're getting some color back. I put that makeshift sling for your arm as a reminder not to use the shoulder.

He looked at Tvivel next. "You know, through all of this I have never introduced myself...something kept happening. My name is Jordan Shepard."

[Jack Falley]

Jack laughed along with Spade's joke, even though he didn't quite get the entirety of it. I'm glad he's feeling better enough to laugh... And we might as well laugh now, 'cuz I have a feeling things can only get worse from here on out until we remove the Tower Bridge's spells or the threats that they pose.

He then pulls out a pen and his notepad and writes down a list of things to do in the near future while listening to the conversations nearby, not really noticing if anyone happens to view his notes:

1. Work on forming Cabal w/ Jordan
   
2. Enlist help of Homeless-But-Not-Homeless
3. Assist Jordan with research on alternate Atlantean in Kruegan's library.
4. ...
5. PROFIT!!!

Jack looks over his list with a smirk. Then, with a shake of his head, he erases items 4 and 5, still amused by the inside joke.

[Ruby]

Poor girl, my love my darling - Ruby tucks close against the hallway corner. Her fingers tightly grip a thick blanket wrapped twice round her frame, her shivering intermittent but still jarring. The threat of her presence could have delayed repairs, so she remains in the hall dutifully until the Havoc pinned to her diminishes.

No deaths. That's the important pa- ACHOO!

Oh no.

Aaaa- but this is just embarrassing. The Consilium humiliated and maybe direly threatened, by their Heirarch's dirty secrets. But, how can anyone blame Andrade? Isn't it a terrible secret to b-ACHOO!

"Aw, mercy... Eeeeuuuch, I've got booger all oooooover." Ruby pastes her hand onto the towel with revulsion.

"Jack!" She shouts. "Have you cleared up yet? I think ahm goin' to try movin' now."

I never said anything about loosing any 'Dox... Jack thinks curiously. He sticks his pen in the binding of the notepad and pokes his head out the door with a confused look on his face. "Umm... Yea? I think the lights have been back on for a little while now... Come! Join the 'party' and, ah... warm yourself up in a room with people in it."
